Trouble in High Heels

Sometimes you just want to relax and listen to something that has it all. This book has comedy, sex, and drama. It's not too serious, but sometimes after a long horrible day, I can't take too much real and this book hit the spot for me. I was hesitate about getting it, but was pleased I did.

This is a light, funny novel that will keep you interested and chuckling the whole time. While I agree that the narrater has some strange voices for some of the men, that was only a minor distraction to a very fun 'read.'

Got it on sale and figured I'd give it a try. I ended up staying up way too late to keep listening. It's light and cute, no life-changing lessons learned, but it was just a lot of fun to listen to. I thought it actually had kind of a Molly Harper feel to it as far as the sarcasm and banter between the characters, but that may be just because Amanda Ronconi has a way of bringing "smart-alec-isms" to life. Definitely a fun distraction for days when menial tasks are on the agenda.

creative, fun story that makes you want to listen to the whole book all at once. i personally think this is a really good book and is worth the prise and or credits. love amanda ronconi.

This is very cute story. I truly enjoyed it.

Love this narrator, have listened to her with Molly Harper's "Nice Girls" series, and she does and excellent job with these types of quirky, smirky books. It is fun at times, and serious at times. Predictable, but who cares. Definitely a chick flick type of book, that you can listen too, laugh at times, and feel good at the end of it.

with a name like Brandi I suspected an airhead character. Not so, this is a fun story that grabs you in from the beginning and you want to see what will be around the next corner. The characters have more depth than first thought. Some people can tell a good story about anything, I suspect Christina Dodd is one of them. I always enjoy Amanda Ronconi's reading. She knows fun when she sees it.

AT FIRST I KEPT GOING THINKING OK NOT WHAT I EXPECTED BUT OK. THEN I KEPT LISTENING TO SEE IF IT WAS MORE THAN OK. THEN I GOT INTANGLED WITH THE STORY LINE. THEN I GOT FRUSTRATED WITH THE SEX SCENES. OK ENOUGH. THEN I GOT MAD AT THE FATHER. THEN I WANTED HER TO WIN. GO GIRL. THE END WAS PREDICTABLE BUT WOULD NOT HAVE HAD IT ANYOTHER WAY. IS WORTH THE CREDITS AND I HAVE TO SAY I GOT THE NEXT IN THE LINE..

I thoroughly enjoyed this and the narrator did an excellent job! Loved the plot; it kept you entertained thru the whole book!

This was fun, light and sexy. It was worth a credit.
