    "Very Clever & Entertaining"

I love Julia Quinn's writing! Not only is she humorous and interesting, she creates characters that you want to know and wish you knew better. Sebastian Gray is a delight, as is the heroin and many of the other characters. The story is light, fun and a joy to listen to. It's great to listen to because there isn't a lot of the vulgar description or language that I find detracts from other author's stories. The story is believable and makes the reader want to go back to the time of the ton... even just for a peak. If you enjoy a good period romance, you will very much enjoy this offering.

"❤❤ My Personal Favorite JQ Audiobook! ❤❤"

Oh wow! I have fallen hard for Julia Quinn!! And Rosalyn Landor's performance was one of her best!

This is my favorite of all JQ's audiobooks. (I've now listened to all of them.) It's clever and witty, with a perfect balance if passion and drama to keep you up late into the night listening. It will leave you wanting more! In fact, I've listened to this book at least three times in the last few months.

AN ABSOLUTE MUST BUY FOR HISTORICAL ROMANCE FANS!!

Sebastian Grey is possibly my favorite Hero in Historical Romance. He is a charming, funny and wildly attractive. I love each of the books in the Bevelstoke series, I recommend listening to them all. But I listened out of order and had no trouble understanding the plot.

If you have read What Happens in London, you've already met Sebastian, who was one of the most entertaining people in that book, as the hero's best friend. He more than deserved his own book! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way Quinn introduces her characters. Annabel, his heroine, is a perfect match for Mr. Grey.

The story is filled with lovable and fascinating secondary characters; Annabel's grandmother is one of the most interesting and quirky characters I've read in a long time! I loved the plot, which never felt contrived.

With the fantastic story and Landor's stellar performance, this audiobook will not disappoint!!

    "Loved it!"

This brings back Sebastian from What Happens in London, Olivia and Harry also make a few appearances. I loved Sebastian in that book and I love him even more in this one. The absolute best character is the Grandmother, Lady Vickers. OMG...laugh out loud funny scenes with her. I laughed so many times with this book, I don't really care that the plot is a little thin. There is no mystery, intrigue, danger, broken hearts, dark secrets, etc., it's just FUN. The dinner scene had me laughing hours afterwards. There are a couple of descriptive loves scenes, tame by my esitmation, along the lines of Lisa Kleypas, Julie Garwood, etc.

    "Very entertaining!"

"Ten Things I Love About You" brings back some of the characters of "What Happens in London". I was not overly impressed with the plot, but I gave the book 4 stars, mainly because it made me laugh so many times. I love the author's sense of humour and her writing style; she's got that special way with words that makes the reading so pleasant and enjoyable. Rosalyn Landor (narrator) is outstanding, as usual, and makes you feel like you are 'watching' a movie... The story itself is not very believable but who cares if it's funny and well written! :) My favourite character is the Grandmother, who adds the "spice" to the plot. It's a shame the book contains some unnecessarily detailed erotic scenes, otherwise it would be perfect for all age groups.
All in all, a suitable book for listening while driving.

"And I Was SO Excited For This..."

Sadly, I was a bit disappointed. I normally love all of Julia Quinn's books, every single one of them. I think this has to be the only one that's disappointed me. It got a little... tedious & boring about 3/4ths of the way in.

    "It was fun"

I like reading Julia Quinn's books because her characters are really likable and enjoyable. This book was no exception. Unfortunately, this book did not have an interesting plot as her previous book "what happens in London" or her wonderful Bridgerton books. Still, it was a good light listening.

    "Light and Fluffy"

Fluff... Lots of fluff... but I really enjoy the light heartedness that Julia Quinn puts into her characters. So I found myself smiling throughout the book - and sometimes that's just what I need! The plot is predictable but the quirky characters are just fun and the author ensures you really do care about what happens to them. A fun, pleasant read perfect when you need a smile.

My biggest problem with the book was the narrators voice for our Hero... it took me half the book to "listen through" the voice. He sounded like a popinjay - someone that lacked strength or intelligence. I didn't like it at all.

    "Another Sebastian stole my heart."

I bought this one after listening to What Happens in London. What a phenomonal talent Julia Quinn demonstrates. Her plotting, characters, setting, humor and romance make for exquisite listening. I will listen to this one over and over. The Bevelstoke series is great.
