Dr. Saul explodes the myth that an army of medical specialists and pharmaceutical drugs are necessary to maintain our health. Using the protocols laid out in Doctor Yourself, you not only can prevent disease from getting a foothold in the first place, you can also cure yourself of illness already in progress, without resorting to drugs or surgery.

"Must reading for anyone seriously interested in health and doubtful about the efficacy of conventional medicine." (John Moelaert, author of The Cancer Conspiracy)
"Thank you, Dr. Saul, for making this information more available and thus promoting the development of the medicine of the 21st century, orthomolecular medicine." (Abram Hoffer, M.D., author of Putting It All Together: The New Orthomolecular Nutrition)
"You Are What You Eat"
"You Are What You Eat" Those words should stick into you for the rest of your life. Every time you pick up something to put into your body, take a moment to adjust yourself and repeat those words. This book is not about dieting. although you will benefit as if it was. this book is meant to open your eyes to self healing, nutritional facts, and to motivate you to learn how your inner body works. i have listened to this book several times as I commute to work, and it has inspired me to learn more about my inner body, than ever before. i believe now, that if we can understand our inner body and what it needs to function properly, we will make the right choices on our food intake.
Thanks
Mike
"Audio is not the right format for this book."
While this book may be full of useful information, this format is terrible for it. I wish I would have purchased a paper copy of the book instead.
"One of The Most Practical Books on Nutrition..."
This is one of the most practical books on nutrition I've read! It not only gives you natural cures for a lot of common illnesses, it gives you inexpensive ones you can try yourself - orthomolecular nutrition using megavitamins, juicing, diet, etc. to treat depression, cancer, arthritis, receding gums, viruses, etc. And, it was entertaining and informative to listen to with common sense, references to other research (Weston A. Price, etc.), personal experience, etc.
"Clear concise instruction on optimized healing."
This book provided not only instruction on how to prevent a cure sickness, but also insight on how disease and the immune system relate. It also does a good job of refuting claims that ortho molecular medicine is either insufficient or inadequate against fighting disease. It was an enjoyable listen and while I probably won't use everything presented in the audiobook, I will definitely give this audiobook a second listen to squeeze more use out of it.
