Blue-Eyed Devil: A Novel

If you like light and easy romance, then I think you'll like this series. Although each book is complete and not dependent on each other, I would suggest reading them in the order they were written. Start with "Sugar Daddy," then "Blue-Eyed Devil," then "Smooth Taking Stranger." I would have given this book 5 stars, but the narrator just wasn't as good as the first book. But after a few minutes I adjusted to her 5-pack-a-day smoker's voice and it didn't bother me so much and I was able to enjoy the book.

I loved this second book in the series ! I fond it even better than the first book. This book gets you hooked from the start . Amazing story, and dialogue . The most enchanting in the story in the main characters. The hero is one of my best heroes ever ! What I love about Lisa's work is that she creates a full community of people that participate in the story effectively. The narration was not up to the level of the book. I liked the narrator of the first book compared to this narrator. But still you will complete this book with a smile on your face :) enjoy :)

I listened to this book about 10 times and it's great every time.....Smooth Talking Stranger was just as good, but fell in love with Hardy!! Can't wait for Joe's book!!!!

This is the best of the "Travis family" trilogy. The book was teriffic and I had a hard time putting it down due to the well-developed story and the interesting characters. Narroration was good.

I really enjoyed this book even though it was difficult to listen when Haven was being hurt. However, all the things that happened to her shaped her and made her who she was and made Harley the best match for her. Again, like the other Lisa Kleypas books the characters are very well developed and the story is excellent. I had a hard time cutting this one off I couldn't wait to hear what happened next. This is the second book in the series, make sure you listen in order. This was excellent.

I fell in love with Hardy Cates. Who could help it? I found the book intriguing, but the narrator somewhat annoying. Way too gravelly when she did Hardy, who otherwise is every girl's dream. I'm still getting used to "vivid" love scenes coming out of the speakers of my car while I'm driving, but I managed. This was a good "no-brainer" with a very engaging hero.

Well written, fresh dialogue, superior narration!
An interesting book and a very pleasant listen.
I'll look for Kleypas and Raudman again.

I had to stop reading to cry a couple of times!!! I was so enthralled by this book it almost felt like it was a real story. Heaven is such a real character and her story is so heartbreaking and ordinary that it made me feel that I was just listening to a friend rather that reading a fictional book. Hardy is PERFECT!! I was a bit disappointed after reading Sugar Daddy and all his background history with Liberty to not end up with her, but now I’m glad he didn’t. He is just what Heaven needed.

The narrator was better that in this book that in Sugar Daddy but I don’t think she is very good with the sex scenes.

Next to Smooth Taking Stranger :) can’t wait!!!!

Three stars only because of the narrator, otherwise a 5 star book. I listened to "Smooth Talking Stranger" a year or so ago. I recently discovered the first two of the series. I loved "Sugar Daddy".Both of those books were great and had wonderful narrators. This book however, I could barely finished because of the narrator. Her voice is so wrong for this book. Her voices for the women made them seem old. It wasn't even right for the men, especially Hardy, I was so glad when the book finished and not because of the story.

Read the series! All are hot, sexy with a riveting story line. The women are smart, the men are strong and draw you deep into the storyline. Kleypas' contemporary romances are much better than the historical, but all are worth the time and money. Highly recommend! Narrator enjoyable.
