I make my living as a truck driver. I fill the space between deliveries with audio books.
"Use the Hero's 2 Journeys Instead"
The ideas in this lecture are covered in "The Hero's 2 journeys." That lecture is a tag-team effort from Chris Vogel and Michael Hauge and covers much more ground. If you have already listened to that lecture and want more of Vogel's ideas, this lecture has a few extra details and a little more depth.
Life's too short to read bad books.
"Interesting, but I knew this already."
I already knew most of what was discussed here and was already using it in my writing. I have 45 Master Characters and it drew pretty much from that book.
"enjoyable listen"
I'm no writer, but I have some ideas that I want to turn into stories. In light of that, I thought this was informative. When I start putting pen to paper I will make sure to listen to this again, and take some notes.
In addition, this gives new perspective to enjoying TV shows, books, movies, or other types of storytelling media.
I am a voracious reader and the captain of my women's book club. Thanks to audible I often get to read at least eight books a month.
"What a bargain"
This presentation is taken from a Chris Vogler segment at a writer's conference. It is just fantastic, packed full of such good information that I took notes all the way through and of course laughed my head off at Chris's great sense of humor. I pray that Audible will do more "mini books" like this one especially on writing.
