Quickly, however, secretive houseguests and unexplained visitors dim the pleasures of deep blue water and white sands. Alex can't help wondering why Dr. Moreland really invited him to the island. When he probes, Alex discovers a sour and unwelcome truth. But truth it is, and its discovery comes just in time to save Alex and Robin from the violence that threatens them.

"Always a Good Story"
Who does not like Alex Delaware ? Jonathan Kellerman always delivers a great story!
"Ho Hum"
Narrators can make or break a good book and what we consider good narration is certainly a matter of choice. I advise you to listen to the sample first before spending your credits. If I took my own advice, I'd still have a credit to spend! While he does a good job switching between characters, I find the overall narration flat and more like listening to a weather report. The story is interesting but it's been pure torture listening to this narrator. I'm halfway through the story and I can't listen to one more word. Nails dragging across a chalk board - you know?
"Another Good One!"
Kellerman is always a good read - and the narrator is just terrific. I could listen to him forever. Kellerman's books always have such interesting characters and I love his girlfriend Robin. He writes with a great sense of humor too!
"Excellent Listen"
Tropical quirkly thiller
Dr. Bill - full of surprises
This narrator is not as good as John Rubenstein

"Kept my interest but not his best"
HUGE fan of the Alex Delaware series. This one focuses on Alex and Robin - on a faraway island and it starts out OK but really became much too unbelievable as it proceeded. Held my interest and I didn't put it on double speed but did think about it. I was just trying to fill in the books from this series I hadn't read/listened to you. So I can check off "The Web" now :)
