Now she's hiked this mountain all by herself. It was glorious, she thinks, as she peers through her binoculars at the Snake River churning below. And then she sees the man and woman on the opposite bank. Arguing. Fighting. Suddenly, he's on top of her, his hands around her throat....
Enjoying a moment of solitude a bit farther down the trail is a gruff loner named Brody. But by the time Reece reaches him and brings him to the scene, the pair is gone. And when authorities comb the area where she saw the attack, they find nothing - no signs of struggle. No freshly turned earth. Not even a tire track.
No one in Angel's Fist seems to believe Reece. After all, she's a newcomer in town with a reputation for being jumpy and jittery - maybe even a little fragile. Maybe it's time to run again, to move on. But Reece knows there's a killer in Angel's Fist, even if Brody, despite his seeming impatience and desire to keep her at arm's length, is the only one willing to believe her.
When a series of menacing events makes it clear that someone wants her out of the way, Reece must put her trust in Brody - and herself - to find out if there is a killer in Angel's Fist before it's too late.

"A slow-burn start combusts in a satisfying denouement; Roberts's legions of fans will be enthralled." (Publishers Weekly)
"Roberts's hallmarks are seamless narratives and powerful characterizations, and Joyce Bean takes full advantage." (AudioFile)
“I love all genres of books, however when I listen to audio books as I clean, garden, drive they are better with a lot of heat!
"Classic Nora Roberts"
I enjoyed this book it was well narrated and easy to listen to. I would recommend this book

"Great Nora Roberts book"
Yes, I will listen to this book again. There was more character development in this book than in the majority of romances.
Of, Reece
The "voices" used the narrator were often difficult to distinguish--- one gravelly voice for all men, some women.
I have a busy career, travel a lot and don't have much time to read, so I listen to Audio books. I love reading!
"Easy listening!"
I look forward to Nora Robert's strong female characters and the men they fall in love with. A little predictable, but good easy listening. Angel's Fall is another good recipe with a good story line and that good bit of a twist and excitement to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Another Nora Robert's winner with a good narrator in Joyce Bean bringing the characters to life.
"Angels Fall"
This was another great listen from Nora Roberts. Always reliable for an easy restful read. Just what one needs at times. :)
Hi all fellow listeners. I am disabled and spend most my time at home or walking my beautiful Jack Russell dog Sydney. I live for my dog and fantasy world. Keeps me going having this wonderful site to get all my books from. Remember to laugh and smile every day and throw some love into the mix :)

"Excellent narration, story gets a little lost"
I enjoyed listening to Joyce Bean narrate so much so that I looked up other titles she has performed. Angels Fall is a good story, but it gets a little lost in the lengthy descriptions of all the main character's issues (paranoia, OCD etc.). The ending is not unexpected, but it is confusing. I'm still not quite sure how it all panned out. Usually Nora Roberts is much more on point with descriptive storylines, but I feel this story fell a little short.
"A Great Read"
Right up with the best. Nora Roberts has a great style.
The mystery of why Reece was in Angel's Fist and what dis she see in the canyon?
She brings the characters to life
Reece is running from something. What is she afraid of?
"Crazy PTSD, but great heroine!"
I really enjoyed this book. It was fun and entertaining, and I found myself still listening even after I got home! The heroine has severe anxiety, but she has a right to be, and is strong enough to push through it and stand by her convictions, plus her counterpart was pretty entertaining and relatable, not some unattainable fantasy. Narration was great too, and I was hooked on the whole story from beginning to end!
"Heartwrenching"
Yes, but not for at least a year. It is so detailed, you feel in the story, and he story line is genius.
When She barrels into the jewerly store to confront the sheffif's wife about her necklace, because you're not quite sure what is happening, but you know she figured everything out.
no, but she did a great job in this book, she made each character sound different and they're own.
When she got mad at almost every one in town, because it made me think...Hmm is that how I act when I'm upset?
