But Precious Ramotswe is not as happy as she should be under the circumstances. The Detective Agency is struggling with its finances and Mr J. L. B. Matekoni is unusually low and neglecting his garage.
But with the help of the reliable Mma Makutsi and a few interesting cases, things are sure to get back on course.

When I drive, I read... uhm listen. I like SciFi, Fantasy, some Detective and Espionage novels and Religion. Now and then I will also listen to something else.
Alexander McCall Smith's no.1 Ladies Detective Agency books are always a treat to read... and to listen. While Hillary Neville does a tremendously good job of bring the story alive, her lack of knowledge on how to pronounce certain South African English, Afrikaans and Setswana words, irritates my ear. Especially mispronouncing some of the Setswana surnames of the main characters.
When she uses the greeting "Dumela," it sounds horrible, mispronounced...
