Confidence, as every golfer knows, is the key to peak performance on the greens. Zen Putting: Mastering the Mental Game builds your confidence through a thinking-outside-the-box approach that helps golfers of all levels get out of their own way and roll the ball better than ever.
In chapters such as "Already in the Hole", "Stop the Bleeding", and "Turn Knee-knockers into Tap-ins", you'll find the insights and methods that will help you take your putting to the next level, with more consistency, less frustration, and lower scores. Using his distinctive blend of sports psychology, Zen wisdom, and practical golf instruction, Dr. Joe Parent shares the lessons and practice exercises that have dramatically improved the putting of PGA professionals and amateurs alike.
In clear, concise chapters, Zen Putting covers everything from warm-up and practice programs to the ideal routine for setting up to and executing a putt. You'll discover how to synchronize body and mind to make your smoothest stroke time after time and build your confidence round after round.
Zen Putting brings a fresh perspective to the art of putting, leading golfers to the effortless focus and confidence of being in the zone, the feeling that they can make every putt they look at. It is a book all golfers will want to listen to again and again.

"Not just for putting"
I practice Zen more that I do Golf, but I found that the teachings in this book helped in both disciplines.
"Confirmation! Thank You for Zen"
I own and have read both versions and since the visual aspects of Zen concept I much prefer the audio where I can focus in. That's just me though I am more visual.
Everyone who is scratch can get to tee to green... but putting that can be a game changer if you are to go deep.
I can say without doubt I practice and perform better under pressure after taking in the Zen!
loved both Zen Books... must read for the hardcore golfer soaking up pearls
Confirmation on visual aspect of putting... also the story of his buddy putting with his driver on the back nine
good voice and flow
Fearless of results... putt it like Jordan.. shooting focus on target and keep an eye on the prize and trust my routine
"Excellent"
Excellent ideas
Great techniques
So much
I've listened to Zen Golf so many times and wondered if there would be too much overlap and there was not. Excellent audiobook.
"Best golf read of all of the books out there!"
I will listen to it again. Really helps focus on executing process.....and forgetting the importance of putt, the results of it if it goes in, or doesn't, etc. Gets reader to focus on process and executing it.
Keeps it very interesting.
Execute Process
Anyone that enjoys reading golf books, this is a MUST!
"Mindful"
I would recommend this to a fellow golfer. This book I think helps put the mental side of the game into play, something that needs to be addressed if you want to get better.
I have listened to another Zen book as well, I would grade them the same.
No one stood out.
I could have if given the time, I do most of my listening in the car.
