"Thoroughly Enjoyable"
This is the second book in this young adult series and it is definitely as good as the first. I am an adult and perhaps shouldn't be admitting to enjoying this series, but I do! The stories are excellent character-driven sotries and the narration is outstanding. I highly recommend this series.

"great spooky story for all ages"
once again Joseph Delany weaves a truly entertaining and genuinely spooky story replete with all types of sinister creatures and villians--great in the car --just kept me glued to the story waiting to see what would happen next--let go and put yourself there --in his haunting world of the "spook".

"Intense fun"
This was an intense and fun listen. The narrator was perfectly matched to the content and overall it was well-read.
Parental warning: With the "body-pressing" and some of the other graphically detailed descriptions in this book, I will be waiting a year or two to share it with my ten yr old daughter.2 of 3 people found this review helpful -

Would you listen to The Last Apprentice again? Why?yes....this is actually already my third time listening to it. i love the series...it captivates me every time i listen to it.
What other book might you compare The Last Apprentice to and why?there in my opinion is nothing that comes close to this book series.
Have you listened to any of Christopher Evan Welch’s other performances before? How does this one compare?the only experiences of his work i've listened to is from this series. but if all his performances are like this i bet they are amazing.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?at times made me feel just as scared as tom was. i felt like i was just standing there with him.
Any additional comments?this is my favorite series...even better then the harry potters!
