Tangled Up in You

Rachel Gibson is one of my absolute favorite authors. I was thrilled to see one of her books finally available on Audible. As always, her books never fail to disappoint...she is witty, a great story line and her characters are always interesting. Note of warning on this one...she can be a bit graphic at times!! I'm looking forward to more selections from Rachel soon, I hope!

What a great listen. Mattie and Mick were so well written you could feel all the emotions. This book pulled me and I and just couldn't stop listening. I only hope that we get more from this writer/narrator combo. Both were fantastic!

Story is good and lead male character is very likeable.

Funny story of an amazingly strong woman and her fantastical life! Gibson has the ability to create characters which are both believable and interesting! Really enjoyed listening to this one, the narrator is great! The sex scenes are the most graphic I've ever heard, but that made the book even better! :)

Yes, I would listen to this book again. I probley will.

I loved the main character, Mattie Jones. Self made women, knows how to satisfy the man she's with.

This was a fasinating book. I enjoyed the plot. It was a book is about how forgiveness can ease pain in your life you never knew you had.

Although quite predictable, I couldn't stop listening! The plot was a little thin but the romance and spicy sex scenes made up for it. (Hence one of those stars.:)) I liked the strong female character and hard-nosed yet vulnerable male character. Good easy fun in a book.

Cute book! I personally enjoyed it. If you like the made for TV romantic movies (which I do) you will like it!

Mick's father was having an affair with Maddie's mother. Mick's mother found out and killed them, and then committed suicide. Twenty nine years later Maddie came back to Trulie to write a book about the tragedy, never expecting to find Mick so irresistible. This story was good but it dragged a bit. Although it was only a little over 8 hours long it felt like double that time. But the last chapter was so so good! I just loved the ending.

The narrator did a good job but definitely not her best. Ive listened to other books narrated by ms. Poole and those were much better. This story had lots of hot sex but it was not that big on the romance.

This book was very entertaining. I really enjoyed it and didn't want it to
end. Meg's voice was a little annoying but she is not around too much.
I will look for more Rachel Gibson books from Audible!

There aren't many surprises in this romance novel. It's pretty stereotypical stuff, with the hot chick and the hot guy who hate each other at first and end up falling for each other. It has some steamy sex scenes and the action and dialogue are engaging enough. The narrator can get annoying because you can hear her breathing in after every sentence. Personally, I found the whole nonsense about the main female character not telling her big "secret" annoying and predictable. I must admit, however, that I am not a big fan of romance because I hate predictable plots. At any rate, I listened to the whole thing, and while I found myself rolling my eyes at times, I didn't get bored.
