When Scott Alan gets a phone call that his brother was hurt on a logging job, he rushes to Brian’s side, only to find that his injuries are minor - but not before he meets Hank Ballam, an adrenaline-seeking logger who's an outcast among his co-workers.
Hank is a study in contrast: he lives for the rush of climbing and cutting trees almost as much as he loves the peace he finds exploring the mountains he calls home. Scott’s attraction to Hank is immediate and mind-blowing, and it’s what Scott has always wanted: to know what it’s like to love someone he can’t live without.
Scott needs to know if Hank’s true feelings will be a roar of passion or simply a quiet friendship, one that doesn’t match Scott’s devotion. But it may be too late: Scott simply can’t help himself from falling hard for Hank.

"BAD!"
If this had been the first gay romance book I purchased, I would have NEVER purchased another! It started out okay then turned into a poorly written porno. There are some very good gay romance books out there (such as Finding Zack) but this is not one of them! This is the only book I have purchased out of 154 that I was not able to finish!
"Great story!!"
I think Charlie David did a great job at telling the story. It made listening to this amazing story that much more enjoyable.
I would say Hank is my favorite character because although he's portrayed as a big tough logger in the beginning of the story, we get to see a softer side to him.
Yes, I've listened to Hot Head and compared to that Charlie David did another great job bringing a story to life.
Pretty much all the tender moments between Hank and Scott. It showed that they truly care about each other.
I'm Married 25 years with 5 sons. I love romance anything to do with love, love and more love. I am officially a audible junkie :)
"Good!!!"
sweet, sexy, hotness
when hank got hurt in the woods
all of them. If i was a guy, I'd want my own gay hank seriously!
yes and i did, Charlie david did an great job btw
I loved this book, I didn't want it to end.
I really enjoy the world of books! Narration just add layers to that world... don't u think? :)
"Cute!"
This was a very cute and witty story. I love the whole tree climber thing.. I think I really like a really strong lead character in my stories though and a struggling one. This one had two really strong leads so, the balance was just to balanced it you know what I mean. Good drama, especially when the accident happens, but other than that... this was just cute.
David is a great narrator. I will look for more David narration.
Good credit, not a good buy. I feel kinda jipped... b/c I bought.. I wish I would have waited for my credit... but some you win and some you lose...right!
