An invisible killer is chasing reporter Lacey Allen across Arizona, and leaving a trail of bodies in his wake.
Using ancient black magic, a dangerous, vindictive maniac is made all-powerful by his ability to become invisible. Raping and murdering his way around the States, he is biding his time before fulfilling his one desire - to get even with the high-school belle who rejected him years before.

"Shame on Laymon"
This was a very interesting premise for a story and usually Laymon delivers, but the heroine was just so incredibly stupid and unlikeable that it didn't allow me to get wrapped into the story. The things that she does is just so beyond the realm of common sense that i found myself audibly saying "oh, come on!!"
Most disappointing thing about this story was Lacey's character. I didn't think a female character could be so incredibly dumb and still manage to make it to the next chapter.
yes - but it would have to be a story that I REALLY wanted to hear. He wasn't one of my favorite readers.
No.
Laymon is usually one of my favorite writers but I think he was doing drugs when he wrote this one. Shame on him.
