"Fabulous!"
Okay, I love Tolle, Dyer, Chodron, Chopra, Ruiz, Byron Katie, and many others, and that won't change. But for the clearest explanation of how to disregard that 'nut' running commentary in my head, this book wins hands down. It is funny, I mean oh so, 'oh my goodness of course' belly laugh funny, and sensible and simple. I love simple. If you really want to understand who 'you' are...the real you behind the insanity, this is a great book. I found the narrator to be fine, not perfect but I had no problem listening to him. Listened all the way through first day and started over.
"Changed my Life!"
I have listened to this book about 8 times. Everytime I re-listen I hear something new.
It has chaged my life and given me freedom. Thank you Michael Singer for sharing this wonderful way of living.
"I loved this book"
I listened to this book over and over. There is a sense of peace and surrender that comes over me after I finish a chapter.
Quieting the mind chatter.
It gets really good at chapter 14 and beyond
lean back and let it pass through you.
Keep this book handy. You will refer to it over and over again.
"Inspirational and worth striving towards!"
This spiritual book taught me to detach more and to let go, which isn't new to me, but it's presented in a different way. I love it!
The only criticism I have is with the narrator. He tended to drop the volume of his voice on the last word of the sentence. I'd have to go back and listen again to get the one word.
"A straightforward solid spiritual guide"
Listen to the narrator for yourself. I found the narration good and the reader had appropriate deference and sensitivity to the content. I did not agree with the harsh judgements regarding the narrator, it was fine for me.
This book feels like a good distillation of the many books I have read on Buddhism, positive psychology and just good ways to live fully. I recommend this for anyone who feels blocked in life.

Yes and No; it was too profound that I personally have to listen to it serval times to decipher - partly I believe my English proficiency is a constriction that holding me back, but I think I'll get there pretty soon. - I can taste it!

This book is one of a kind!
Berkrot's performance was enticing, insightful and kind. His voice was persuasive, endearing, and pleasant.
One of my favorite lines was about "getting to know people, not just meet them." It changed the way I handle stress and negativity. Over time, I hope to learn how to completely reconstitute how I react in emotional situtations. dThis book gives me tools I needed to detach from stress and live fully in happiness.
Fantastic! Will listen again and again.
"my favorite book right now! perfect timing!"
I run my own business so actual book reading is quite a luxury and one I rarely have time for... I drive quite a bit so thats where I do my best listening to audio books... as I find driving a little boring my audio books make it a pleasure...
hehe I think regarding this book... um me :)
there were no characters but Peter Berkrot is a great narrator!
oh gosh too many to list... and Im still listening so Im sure there will be more...
this was one of those perfect timing books, not sure why I even bought it... purely on the snippet and liking the narrators voice (that is really important to me)... it is an artform and not everyone can do it.
This is one of my all time favorite audios so far... and I listen to a lot of them. A great start to 2012!
"Good content, horrible reading."
Well I thought it was a good book, with a lot of insightful information.. but the person who read this book read it at an insanely fast pace! and has a very annoying voice. no presence at all. Sounded like a high pitched robot on ultra fast reading mode to be honest. For a book as deep as this, the author should have read it himself, seriously. He cannot be happy with how this turned out.
