The sequel to Off Season, arguably Jack Ketchum’s most famous novel about a historic family of cannibals off the coast of Maine. As suspenseful, fast-paced and intelligently written as the prequel, it was adapted into a movie of the same name.

"Night terrors...I jumped at every noise"
No
I would have to agree with Stephen King,
Luke and Claire both. You could sense the connection between mother and son. Love does conquer all even in a Jack Ketchum novel! (I think there is more to come with this group of flesh eaters.)
It has been made into a movie, filmed in Michigan
This book is not for everyone, but if you love nailbiting, hair pulling, wet your pants suspense..read this and other Ketchum novels.
