Olivia's packing list: (1.) Sunscreen. (2.) Bathing suit. (3.) Flip-flops.
FBI psychologist Olivia Sotiris was looking for a cool ocean breeze, sand between her toes, and a break from her crazy, chaotic, and sometimes all-too-dangerous life. But when she escaped to the small Greek island of Patmos, all she got were meddling grandmothers trying to marry her off. Can't they see that none of the men around interests her - except Robby MacKay?
Robby's packing list: (1.) Synthetic blood. (2.) More synthetic blood. (3.) Jogging clothes. (Even vamps have to stay in shape!)
Robby needs to cool off, too, since all he can think about is revenge on the Malcontent bloodsuckers who once held him captive - but then he meets Olivia, the beauty with wild curls and a tempting smile. When a deadly criminal from a case back home tracks her down, Robby will have to save her life - along with giving her a first time she'll never forget.

"ONE OF THE BESTS OUT OF THE SERIES"
I LISTENED TO THE WHOLE SERIES AND THOUGHT THIS WAS ONE OF THE BETTER BOOKS IN IT BECAUSE OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE MAIN CHARACTORS. SHE KNOWS THERE IS SOMETHING DIFFERENT ABOUT HIM BUT CANT FIGURE OUT WHAT. THEN THEY END UP AT THE SAME CRIME SCENE AND THINGS START FALLING IN PLACE.
"Vacation time for lovers"
While Robby finally gets to fall in love and stumble through his romanic vacation, we get to be entertained with some new characters and the bad guys that continually can't seem to launch a effective attack. The Love at Stake book is another fun book in this series. If you enjoyed the previous books in this series this one won't disappoint. The narration by Plummer was fine. Only if you are into this particular series would I recommend spending the credit.
"Excellent narration and entertaining story"
This was a fun read that was an enjoyable distraction while home sick. I've read a few books in this series and Therese Plummer's narration has been by far the best. She has a pretty good Scottish accent and did a great job with both male and female voices without sounding silly or cheesy.
The story was better than average as well, incorporating mystery and intrigue early on. The story clearly picks up from a previous book, but you can get the gist of things without having read it. The supporting characters' stories lend well to the main story and I enjoyed that the story took place over a longer period of time than usual.
Books are my addiction when it comes to "ME" time, you can usually find me under a warm fuzzy blanket with my Audible App engaged!
"Wonderfully Narrated"
This story is a great story, but there are parts where the main character Olivia got a little annoying but the over all purpose of the story was good and the audio version of this book was good.
How this book ranks compared to other books i have listened to it's in the definitely would listen to again pile and recommend to others pile.
I haven't listened to this narrator before but she did the accents wonderfully.
yes
So far I have looked up the other books in this series and i'm not sure why each book is narrated by a different person which creates a strong frown on my face because Therese Plummer did a great job.
"I love everything she writes!"
I couldnt stop listening to this audio book it was good from first to last.
"Even on sale this was not worthy"
I found this purchase to be unworthy of my time or the purchase price.
