New York's Lombardo's Steak House is famous for three reasons: the menu, the clientele, and now, the gruesome murder of an infamous mob lawyer. Effortlessly, the assassin slips through the police's fingers, and his absence sparks a blaze of accusations about who ordered the hit.
Seated at a nearby table, reporter Nick Daniels is conducting a once-in-a-lifetime interview with a legendary baseball bad-boy. Shocked and shaken, he doesn't realize that he's accidentally captured a key piece of evidence. Ensnared in the city's most sensational crime in years, Nick investigates for a story of his own. Back off - or die - is the clear message as he closes in on the facts. Heedless, and perhaps in love, Nick endures humiliation, threats, violence, and worse in a thriller that overturns every expectation and finishes with the kind of flourish only James Patterson knows.

"Scary, exciting, great detail"
"Don't Blink" mixes the right amounts of confusion, human nature, and the games people play. A little too gross for me at times, but Patterson & Roughan keep the story moving. The non-stop disasters get to be exhausting, but overall, a great listen.
"Don't Blink"
Drove for 13 hr.From Lousanna to North Alabama and back.Turned it off only once when I got home.Great book .
"among one of the better Patterson collaborations"
I would place this story among the better "Patterson/little known writer" collaborations. Just the right combination of narration, story plot, suspense, romance, politics, humanism, violence and victories. I did not think that this story was boring at all. Some of the female characters could have been better developed...unfortunately they were more or less accessories to move the men along in the story. Overall very good story. You will like it if you are Patterson fan and follower. Looking forward to reading more Nick Daniels stories.
"Don't Blink"
As is typical this James Patterson book was great and hard to stop listening to all at one time. Look forward to more of his books on audible.
"James patterson Most Boring Story"
What is going on whit James Patterson ,you need to write less book and better writing .It feel that you did not write the book .I think that Howard Roughan wrote this book and had your name to sell it!! That is why you are not on the top 10 whit audible and not even on the top 50 on amazon.
"KEEPS YOU GUESSING"
I like a book that does that -- keep you guessing all along the way. I think the title was perfect -- don't blink when you read this or you may miss something. Not the Patterson characters I am used to so it took awhile to find some affinity. Worth the effort.
"Not the Best"
Patterson's work has derailed somewhere along the way. Although this was an okay read, it was not as riveting as some of his earlier works. His 'co-writers tend to make his goal of writing more books than anyone else a reality...but at what cost? This story deals with media, suicide, athletic ability, and gambling. The Alex Cross and Lyndsay Boxer series are what made him. He should stick with those.
