This is an absolute solution to medication for deep sleep. I was using medication and now I put on 30 minutes of the good doctor and I achieve a solid six hours. "Creative and Highly Effective"
I have never been able to stay awake for this whole program, but I try to get through his Sleep for Healing Hypnosis as it addresses chronic pain. I use this every night and have been sleeping far better. I learned that with PTSD I have missed out on Delta Wave sleep most of my life and this is helping. If I can get enough of that, I may be able to calm the chronic pain from nerve damage.
I find Steven Gurgevich's voice very soothing and his various hynposes surprisingly creative. He gives frameworks around which we can fill in our own stories. I find some other hypnotists to be kind of "Hollywood" dramatic, but this man is terrific and calming and the images he chooses gentle and appropriate.

"I fell asleep - which was just what I needed"
I doubted the very concept of this kind of hypnosis/relaxation audibles but I wanted to try anyway since I was having trouble falling asleep and this audible was reasonable priced. I thought I got little to lose but lot to gain.
First time I gave it a go I was sitting in the car (don't worry my wife was driving) and it worked like a charm. I fell asleep in no time. Since that I used it maybe 10 times and it works so well that I've never actually have been able to listen it through and through. For that reason I really can't give you any specifics about this audible other than Gurgevich has relaxing voice and in the beginning he gives you introduction to this field.
Bottom line is that if you have need for relaxation and want to fall asleep this is one audible to consider.

This audibook gave its promises from the first hear, I slept the best sleep in a very long time just by listening to this audiobook.Its unbelievable, although I had severe headache and I have very bad snoring problems it only took me 6 hours to fully rejuvinate and wake up in full energy for the whole day "It used to take me around 12 hours of sleep to do that, and i still become drousy the whole day".
"Helpful for insomniacs"
This has helped me many nights fall asleep - I may not sleep through the whole night, but I just turn it on again. I have only used the last segment "Deep sleep" - so cannot rate the other segments on their effectiveness. I would recommend this as a helpful aid in falling asleep.
"Seems to work"
Narrator's voice is not the least bit soothing or pleasant but neither is insomnia. Definitely should have been broken into chapters so you will need to create 2 or 3 bookmarks. Bottom line, I have yet to be awake to hear the end of one of the sessions. That's what I really bought it for.

"Puts you to sleep..."
I was in Houston. It was hot and humid and this put me to sleep and/or back to sleep every night. It saved my life.
Gurgevich gives you several different hypnotic sessions. I was usually to sleep during the first one or two. I don't even remember the rest.
The introduction at the beginning was kind of long but it does give you a few minutes to settle before he launches into the different sessions.

I've had trouble sleeping for years and missed a few days of work because of it too. I tried medications, otc and prescription (some with unpleasant side effects), homeopathy, supplements, meditation, but nothing worked. Till now. I play this on my IPad or my Kindle and fall asleep. Sometimes it takes longer than others, but I've never actually reached the end of the CD and I'm very glad for that. I would like to know what he says, but I really don't have time to play it during the day and I'm very happy to fall asleep during it at night. So, I guess I'll never really know what he has to say but it must be the right thing for me. If you are on the fence, give it a try. I'm so glad that I did.
