Don't think.
Don't question.
Just do.
"The anonymous note wasn't for me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not in the habit of reading other people's mail, but it was just a piece of paper with a few lines scrawled on it, clearly meant for the apartment upstairs. It looked so innocent, but decidedly - deliciously - it was not.
"Before replacing the note - and the ones that followed - in its rightful slot, I devoured its contents: suggestions, instructions, commands. Each was more daring, more intricate and more arousing than the last, and I followed them all to the letter.
"Before the notes, if a man had told me what to do, I'd have told him where to go. But submission is an art, and there's something oddly freeing about doing someone's bidding, especially when it feels so very, very good. But I find that the more I surrender, the more powerful I feel, so it's time to switch up roles. We play by my rules now."

"LOVE MEGAN HARTS BOOKS."
THIS STORY IS GREAT. I THINK THE NARRATOR COULD HAVE DONE BETTER WITH SOME OF HER CHARACTERS BUT OVER ALL I LOVED IT.
"This was OK but would not recommend it."
I was disappointed at the way it ended. I felt it builded but never followed through. Also, parts of it were incredibly too slow.
"Plot please"
By the cover it seems like the plot is about the character exploring kink. But it's not.
By the set up it seems like the plot is about finding out who the mysterious notes are for (discovered by accident) and who they are from (also discovered by accident) and it's not.
Most of the set up would suggest that the plot is about the fateful meeting of two characters (and really, if the set-up of the meeting is that long, the meeting has to actually happen) but it's not.
Midway through a health crisis is introduced about the protagonist's mother, but it's resolved fast and isn't the plot.
The final resolution is of a very minor sub-plot that the character didn't seem to care about through the rest of the book.
Really, don't bother.
"what happened?"
this is nothing like the rest of her books, very dragged out and left you saying WHAT? i think tempted was the best of all her books so far and this one was sonot like that.
"Couldn't Finish It"
Wish I had read Donna's review before I, too, bought it on sale. I'd love to have my money back. The language was appalling. There may have been a plot, but I couldn't find it in the hour or two I listened. I really tried...but life is too short.
"Don't bother"
Very disappointing. The plot never really materialized and was plagued with irrelevant observations and commentary. Couldn't even finish it.

"Somewhat disapointing"
I'm a big fan of Megan Hart but this book left a lot to be desired for me.
Likes to read and now to listen to many different area of books. Interested in more books. Open to suggestions.
"Pamela B."
I liked the story okay but it just didn't feel like it was complete, like all the different avenues were not finished. But what was there was good. Oh, I guessed the sender of the notes pretty fast.
