"Mark and Bob are geniuses. I've learned a lot from them and you will too!" (Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad)
"In the wrong category?"
I've listened to many of the excellent business titles available here and I need to say that this is the worst. It is very light on business details and heavy on the self help style. While it is very inspirational, I found it lacking in much of what I had hoped for. The authors are very religious and seem to focus more on that than on business. When the book finally did get around to discussing business strategies, they talked about some sketchy sounding ways to trick people into taking no money down on real estate, and their great internet money making scheme of sending mass email. There were some good points brought up in the book, such as how you want multiple streams of income and how to put together a good team. but overall the details were lacking in many of the important categories.
"Feel Good Nonsense"
This is the biggest bunch of happy horse-hockey I've ever heard. Just a bunch of rah-rah, "believe it and it will happen", Stuart Smalley-type idiocy. Not a single piece of useful or insightful or original information. It's hard to believe it goes on so long.
"Excellent!"
This book was a great listen. I like the fact that there are a few different authors of the book, each reading parts...makes it easy to listen to. The teachings of this book are very motivational and inspire me to keep pushing towards success!
"Nothing useful here"
What a load of garbage. There wasn't a single useful piece of information here. It was full of pie in the sky tid bits. I felt like I was listening to a time share sales pitch!
"Great Book - Absolutely Fantastic Narration"
This book is delivered in two parts, a non fiction element spoken by the authors, and a modern day parable, spoken by the narrator.
The non-fiction element has excellent narration, and the affirmations and messages are really inpsiring and home-hitting, no matter how far you are on the way to being a millionaire. I cant overemphasise how good this book is to listen to!
I didn't care for the second (fiction story) element of the book - it was just too contrived and not very interesting (trying too hard to tug at the heart strings). But hey! 6 hours of excellent content out of 12 hours still makes this book an absolute bargain.
"Wonderful!!!"
This is a life transforming book. It goes right along with other spiritual teachings. We all deserve to be millionaires, if we are millionairs we can give more of it away, everyone wins:)!!!
A real treasure!!!
"The Whole Thing is a Sales Pitch"
Anyone who is Mormon will probably love it.
My next listen will definitly have solid business advice, not feel-good "believe it and God will give it to you" messages.
Their reading just sounded like a sales pitch.
The One Minute Millionaire
The entire book is one big batch of propaganda to get you to go on their website, join their club, buy their stuff, try their "no money down" real estate schemes. In refelcting back about what I heard, I can't say that I remember anything that truly stuck with me as beneficial.
"Inspiring!"
YES..I would listen to it every time I need a little extra motivation!
The realization of how ANYTHING is possible when you FOCUS and BELIEVE!
NEVER GIVE UP! BELIEVE!
"two ways of learning"
The methods outlined in this book are practical and easy to implement into one's. The lessons are taught two ways. As a series of principles and then a person's (fictious) stories. While the scenario in the story was ideal, it still did a great job of teaching how to apply them.
"A Life Transformational Experience"
My wife and I enjoyed this book, our lives are forever changed. If your are not willing to transform your life this book will be useless to you. The split in the book between left and right brain is excellent. I used the novel part to introduced this book to my wife, within the first few minutes she was crying like a baby, she was overcome by her emotion. So I have my first member of my Dream Team. Important concepts discussed are Manifestation, Aha's, Millionaire Equation, Networking, Mentorship, Power of Leverage and Applying Maximum Leverage. It has open our eye, now we can see the Abundance of opportunities in South Africa.
