I loved reading and listening to these books. The only bad part was Zalasta's accent. The narrator brings a lot of humour to the story, which is key for any book by David Eddings. I particularly loved Bhlokw - he steals every scene!

After Sparhawk and his companions successfully rest the misguided Trolls from the control of te dark god Cyrgon by releasing their true gods from Bhelliom, thereby forcing Cyrgon, who had taken on the appearance of the god Gworg, to revert to his true form. But the victory turns to ashes, for upon returning to the city of Matherion, Sparhawk discovers that Ehlana, along with Alean, her favorite Llady in Waiting, has been kidnapped by the mad styric sorcerer Zalasta, who had long covetted Sephrenia and allied himself with first Azash and now Cyrgon in his quest to slay Aphrael and seize the woman he desires. Now, Sparhawk is ordered to surrender Bhelliom to Cyrgon in exchange for Ehlana and Alean's lives. But it quickly becomes apparent that Cyrgon is no longer the most urgent threat facing the companions, for in his desperation Cyrgon forced one of his greatest magicians to summon the demonic spirit known as Klael. This spirit, it is revealed, is Bhelliom's evil opposite, a creature so powerful that none, not even the gods, can control it. Indeed, those who summon it quickly become its tools. Can Sparhawk and his friends free Ehlana and Alean before it's too late? And even if they do, will they be able to defeat Cyrgon and more importantly Klael?
As before this was a very worthwhile listen. At least the narrator is consistent in his pronunciations, even if some of them are a bit quirky. And I will say that he does have a good voice for narration.

The Tamuli is a good series if you can get beyond the clumsy pronunciation of some words by the narrator - however, in this book I particularly loved the way he portrayed the Trolls - what fun! Favorite characters still appear, heroes wrestle with the bad guys and somehow succeed despite the odds - all the usual elements of this genre are there. I didn't want the story to end.

The only reason I rate this 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because the narration of the book sucks . The voices of the characters sound so similar its hard to tell who supposed to be speaking and ,the ones that do sound different have accents that don't come close to being part of the storyline scene.
The story itself is great.I recommend this audio book to anyone .Just realize if you are used to a much better quality narration ,the story does suffer from it.
