He served as the personal assistant to Rabbi Baruch Ashlag from 1979 to 1991, and upon his rabbi's passing, was handed down personal transcripts from one of the greatest Kabbalists of our time. Having studied Kabbalah for over 30 years, Rabbi Laitman presents a scientific approach to spiritual evolvement that is based on the writings of Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag and other great Kabbalists throughout the generations. This introduction to Kabbalah helps the listener focus on the essential elements of kabbalistic philosophy and inquiry. The unencumbered listener should find a definite connections between Kabbalistic teaching and most all other spiritual paths of mystical inquiry and experience. Of special significance is an ongoing discussion of the relationship between mankind, God, faith, reason, enlightenment and the path of drawing nearer to God.

"LOOKING FOR ANSWERS (what is my soul)"
I was more enlightened by this book than any other book of this calibur at this time in my life. I am on my own soul searching journey to search for answers to my own innner questions on the subject of meaning of life. I also am a firm beleiver in the Bible and that we are created by God, I live on Faith and this book awakened somthing in me. I understand this concept, and this book was so well written. I recommend it to anyone searching for a different perspective of this topic. Enjoy listening and enlight your soul. (54 yr old Fenmale/ Scorpio)

"Wonderful book on Kabbalah"
This book is written about the 'heart' or 'spirit' of Kabbalistic writings/religion. If you are interested in Kabbalah or you have some of the books like Sephir Yetzirah or Basir or something -- you should obtain this book to help you understand more of the writings, the tenants and the foundations of this branch of Judaism.

"An endless drone"
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?No. It's repetitious and pompous.
What do you think your next listen will be?I have no idea.
Did Tony Kosinec do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?Tony is a good narrator; he cannot be faulted. But Laitman's text just drones on and on, endlessly repetitious, and goes nowhere. I was unable to listen to the whole thing.
Did Attaining the Worlds Beyond inspire you to do anything?Yes. Initially it was inspiring to listen to, but then after listening to several hours, it was clearly moving into fanatical waters. I had to back out. In future I will avoid being sucked into this kind of endless black hole of pseudo-spirituality.
Any additional comments?Yes. I suspect my review will be deleted, since only positive reviews of Laitman's work are permitted to survive on Audible and Amazon.
