"Enjoyable serires"

Who was your favorite character and why?Morgan.
What does Emily Sutton-Smith bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?She really brings the characters to life.
Any additional comments?The weakest part of the book is the romance. There was such great potential for the love triangle. But t.he dragon is so perfect - boring I can't remember his name. Jake is the worlds worst bodyguard. Before they met he could psychically intuit when she was in trouble. After they met...not so much. Supposedly he couldn't be with her because he needs to be clear headed to guard her...but after they slept together a couple of times he not only couldn't sense when she was in trouble...but was never around her and never answered her phone call. I started wondering if after he got what he wanted he just wanted to be left alone so he could teach 5th graders piano.

"What a disappointment..."
Would you try another book from Shéa MacLeod and/or Emily Sutton-Smith?No. The first two books in the series held promise, but this one seemed to have a patchwork plot. It is possible the author was using this book as a bridge to extend the series. However, with such a disappointing story, I will not be a reader/listener of any future books.
What do you think your next listen will be?Nothing in this series. The Penton Legacy series was recommended by a friend so I will give that a try. I know the narrator of that series is very good.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?Narrator was mediocre.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?Disappointment that I spent my time listening to it.
