"Getting tired, but still entertaining."
If you have read the rest of the series, yes, I would read this one. It continues the story with the gang. There is nothing that stands out as super interesting though, and had I not read the rest, this book is pretty boring and can't be read as a stand alone.
Yes, but it's time to take the House of Night into a new, interesting direction, or wrap it up.
The narrator does a fine job, but if this were a movie, she wouldn't be winning any Oscars.
There needs to be a final book to tie up the loose ends and finish the series.
"I can't believe I bought this one"
The last book I wasn't that impressed with, but still l bought this one hoping that it would take a turn and get interesting! Didn't happen!! Stark was not a warrior at all and I dont even know what to say about this book really! It was just ridiculous and I can't believe I waited a year to read this! I have read all her H.O.N. books and I have enjoyed reading most of them, but they just keep getting worse. I don't even want to know how it ends anymore, and I'm pretty sure I can guess the ending anyway! To sum it all up this book is a Let Down!!
"This series is just being dragged on and on..."
Zoey isn't evolving as a person or a high priestess. She isn't growing into the high priestess role that she has been blessed with by Nyx. Her indecisiveness, lack of surety and overall lack of self awareness make her the weakest character in the book and she should be the most compelling part of the book.
I don't know.
Yes, I have all the House of Night books on audio book and I love all the ones she has done. She has brought to life these characters and I commend her!
I'm looking for a new series, that's all it has inspired me to do... move on.
The authors are drawing out this series and they have lost a loyal reader/listener.
I'm very disappointed in the way this series has been drawn out and milked for every last ounce of story P. C. Cast and Kristen Cast can get out of it. If you're going to keep a series going please keep it interesting; make us want to listen to it over and over again. Make your audience sit at the edge of their seats waiting for every word, every action with baited breath!
"Great Book!"
Yes. It is a good book that has lots of strife, coming of age problems such as friends growing apart, faith in friends, and of coarse Nix!
I am not sure. Hidden is pretty unique in my opinion.
She gives personality to the characters with the inflections of her voice that really show just how much of a not-nice person Aphrodite is, yet you DO get a feeling that there is a nice person just underneath the surface that is just waiting to get out. I hope that a confrontation with her nasty parents will somehow bring about this flowering of her personality and show just how special she truely is.
Yes. Of coarse I am a bus driver so I got lots of time to listen to it in once setting...lol.
The thing I really liked about this book that is slightly different than the other House of Night books is that it really felt like a whole book. When I have read some of the others I get to the end and I am like WAIT!! That is it?? They are going to leave it THERE!!! This book has a good resolution, and still leaves you expecting something more, but yet leaves you with a satisfaction of things done. I would certainly read it again! :) I am sad that the next installment will not be out til 2013 though:(
"Love the house of night,,"
Actionpacked, romantic & clever
I liked all the puzzle pieces being put together as the story went on!
I have & she is always a delight to listen to!!
Not in this book!!!
I love all of the house of night novels but hidden was a bit drag outish I'm not sure this is the best of them but still I good listen/read!!
"Followed since the first book!!"
Hidden was one of the better audio books I have gotten so far. The characters were well defined with the narrator and the feeling of the book was just like it was when I read the hard copy
Stevie Rae will always hold a special spot in my heart for her compassion
"Total Snoozefest."
I have no idea what could improve this book. The characters are engaging, but the series has gone on far too long. End it already and call it good.
No of this genre, but deffinately of this author.
Great voice.
Sadly, all of it.
Don't waste a credit on this.
"Not tired of the House of Night series! Want more"
Love Stark - Love all the characters and how they are all playing into the story. It is amazing to me that after so many books the stories do NOT get tiring. The Author keeps us guessing and allows for some heartache but also for some forgivness and Love.
I am looking forward to more stories about how the group carries on!
"More adventures, thrills, and intrigue!"
I love this series, and I rave about it to all of my friends.
The series continues to shock and amaze me. Therefore, I loved everything.
The inflection in her voice adds considerable charm to the characters.
This book left me craving more.
I would recommend this series to anyone who loves romance and drama.
I love to read!
"The story continues!"
Many new points of view were included this time, drawing readers into the story from different perspectives. The story was interesting, but at the end of the book, we were just left waiting for book 11. It doesn't feel like the final wrap up will be coming along anytime soon...
