"Childhood masterpiece murdered by narration"
What would have made The Beasts of Tarzan better?A real narrator would have made this better. The book is a classic, but the narrations sux. Anyone would have been better.

"Exceptionally disappointing"
What would have made The Beasts of Tarzan better?Better production and a different narrator. Paper shuffling in the background, and the loud breathing of the narrator is very distracting. However the major downfall of this recording is the narrator who is frequently tripping over his own tongue and whose style is often out of tune with the context and content.
If you’ve listened to books by Edgar Rice Burroughs before, how does this one compare?I've listened to the first two in the series, each with different narrators, and they were both far superior to this one.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of David Sharp?David Ian Davies or Robert Whitfield
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?Edgar Rice Burroughs is an outstanding author, and the story might have been very good, but the narration was so distracting, I couldn't tell.
