Over the course of the last five years, Tim Tebow has established himself as one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of college football and a top prospect in the NFL. During that time, he amassed an unparalleled resume - winning two BCS national championships; becoming the first sophomore in NCAA history to win the Heisman trophy; and in the face of massive public scrutiny, being drafted in the first round of the NFL draft by the Denver Broncos.
Now, in Through My Eyes, Tebow brings listeners everywhere an inspirational memoir about life as he chose to live it, revealing how his faith and family values, combined with his relentless will to succeed, have molded him into the person that he is today. As the son of Christian missionaries, Tebow has a unique story to tell - from the circumstances of his birth, to his home-schooled roots, to his record-setting collegiate football career with the Florida Gators and everything else that took place in between.
At every step, Tebow's life has defied convention and expectation. While aspects of his life have been well-documented, the stories have always been filtered through the opinions and words of others. Through My Eyes is his passionate, firsthand, never-before-told account of how it all really happened.

"The ultimate role model for your son"
Bought the audio book to share with my 14 year old son. Turns out we both loved it and are amazed what a guy can accomplish with the right mind set and vales. HIGHLY reccomend this book.
"Lots of play by play"
I enjoyed listening to this book. Tim is obviously a special guy and he has a great story, however this book had way too much "play by play" descriptions of foorball games. I was interested in Tim's story because of his religious convictions and wanted to hear his entire story. As I said, I enjoyed the listen but had hoped for more personal stuff and less "I moved to the right and hit the wide receiver at the 20".
"Informative and encouraging!"
I highly recommend this book to get a look into the life of a very interesting young man.
Although there were times when all the detail behind each play/game seemed boring, it provided a foundation for the story. I enjoyed learning about his family and the role they played in his life and how a 'homeschooled' young man has grown to be a light in the ever darkening wold of pro sports.
I read this book for one reason. To learn more about the young quarterback who seems to be in the news weekly and sometimes daily. I am not a sports 'nut' but I enjoy reading about a success story of a young man who is making a positive difference in the sporting (entertainment) industry. Too often stars in the sport world are horrible role models filled with self pride and are very arrogant. This young man is setting a good example and is destined to be a great role model for young aspiring athletes.
"Tebow fan"
Being a Florida Gator and Jacksonville native, it was with anticipation that I read Tim Tebow's story. Our youngest is the same age as Tim and competed against him when he played at Trinity. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to his story and as Christians, appreciated that he kept true to his faith in telling his story. Our disappointment was in the performance. The individual reading the story mispronounced many of the Florida city names which was disappointing. If you're going to read a book, be sure to know the names in the story.
Thank you for including this in Audible.
"Better than expected"
Yes. In a day when few men want to make any sacrifices to be a role model, it is truly inspiring to hear the thoughts of a man who values his relationship with Christ over the temptations of the world. Although not a perfect man, Tebows character is one that I am sure will inspire many.
The narration was a bit slow at the start but later I got really into it and didn;t want to turn it off.
Military history, Contemporary sci-fi/fantasy, Classics and Sport biographies ... in that order!
"Somewhere he is out there"
Its a personal journey however I think it was enhanced for me because I had no prior knowledge of Tim's college career.
There are many memorable moments built around a theme of determination and belief in yourself, and of course belief in a higher being.
No
Time for a cliche, it is extremely thought provoking. It brought forward both questions of religion and self confidence and inspired me to pursue both more fervently.
I would very highly recommend this book to anyone!
"Inspiring Individual, Discouraging Narrator"
Probably.
Most definately. This is above his ability. Although the narrator had a youthful voice, his ability to communicate the same level of emotional intelligence and fun-loving humor of the writer was greatly lacking. I almost gave up on listening, because of the poor narration, several times throughout my listening experience.
This should be re-recorded. Making this point is the main purpose of my review.
Let's let the young man live a little bit more, ya' think? Most of his actions are playing out on the national stage at the moment.
Single mom of two BEAUTIFUL girls and working full time. Never enough hours in the day for myself. Loving Audible!
"Unless you’re a diehard fan rent this book!"
Being a Gator Fan, and along with it a fan of Tim Tebow, I was very interested in reading his book. I still believe that he is a great role model, but my opinions of him have greatly changed after hearing this book. The beginning of the book was hard to stomach with how poorly it was written. It did however improve throughout the book. The book was noting what I expected, which I guess I had no real expectations to begin with. It had a lot of play by play which kept it interesting, but the fashion in which the book was written, how descriptive Tim was in relation to his achievements, made him come across quite cocky in my opinion. The book jumped around a lot from one topic to the next, there was no real timeline, more like rambling as he remembered what he wanted to say, or had forgotten to say earlier. The narrator in the beginning didn’t seem to be a good fit and took some time to get used to, but he did a good job. All in all I stand by my headline. Unless you’re a diehard fan check this book out from your library!
"Great Story"
What a story
Tim and his families passion for God
The family together time in NYC leading to the Heisman Trophy ceremony
YES!!!
This book challenged me to seek God with all my heart for the riches in living life His way. I love the faithfulness of the Tebow parents and Tim's as he grew up and attended college. With all the distractions/fame/success he still stayed focus on the lord. God was always faithful. Many lives have and will be impacted through this young man - and because of his parents faithfulness in how to live life - for Christ
"very helpful"
our gator nation family has always followed tim tebow and i was thrilled to get his book and found it very helpful in terms of explaining how to walk in faith, and not be down on yourself but look for the positives. i also appreciated the game insights. many games that i saw and remembered the plays and he explained the behind the scenes circumstances. also, he was unable to beat our mighty mighty home team, the st. augustine yellow jackets, at any time in his high school career, so i like that he admitted what a downer that was! i loved this book!!!
