"Great book for beginners and seasoned meditators"
I got this book because it has some good meditations in that are useful for both beginners and experienced meditators. Here the author gives background information on Buddhism and the different traditions. The author goes into detail about the meaning of each tradition and how they relate to each other which is something I didn't know before. The author also goes through several meditations throughout the book which are insightful. I never had a teacher when I first started meditating, so these taught me some lessons I didn't know and I enjoyed them. This is a great book for those wanting to learn how to meditate and be guided through some meditations.
