      "Mispronunciations Abound"

This series is indeed concise. However, the pronunciations of the medical terms is horrible at best. I do not recommend this unless you already know how to pronounce the medical terms. I have literally never heard medical terminology slaughtered to this degree. Professional narrators are no replacement for narrating professionals. The latter would be far preferable. I find it hard to believe that they did not clarify the pronunciation of these terms before they read. I recognize regional differences and dialects and have practiced in various parts of the country. Many of these mispronounced words (too numerous to mention) are barely recognizable to the trained medical ear. Even my English-challenged foreign colleagues do better than these native American English speakers.Do not rely on this as a source for how to pronounce medical terminology.
