Number-one New York Times best-selling author Nora Roberts cordially invites you to meet childhood friends Parker, Emma, Laurel, and Mac — the founders of Vows, one of Connecticut’s premier wedding planning companies.
Laurel McBane has always relied on her friends for support, especially when her dream of attending culinary school was almost ruined by her parents’ financial problems. Now Laurel is repaying the kindness of her friends by creating extravagantly luscious tiers of cakes and other confectionary delights that add the perfect touch to their clients’ weddings.
As for romance, Laurel believes in it — in theory. But she’s too low-key to appreciate all the luxuries that other women seem to long for. What she does appreciate is a strong, intelligent man, a man just like Parker’s older brother, Delaney Brown, on whom Laurel has had a mega-crush since childhood.
But some infatuations last longer than others, and Laurel is convinced that the Ivy League lawyer is still out of her reach. Plus, Del is too protective of Laurel to ever cross the line with her, or so she thinks. When Laurel’s quicksilver moods get the better of her — leading to an angry, hot, altogether mind-blowing kiss with Del — she’ll have to quiet the doubts in her mind to turn a moment of passion into forever….

"Passion erupts, but will they be able to make it last? Laurel's tart fairy tale romance offers few surprises, but it's impossible to deny Roberts's flair for sketching likable couples." (Publishers Weekly)
"Very flat, but great ending"
This book was very flat. The buildup to the romance was too unemotional, I expected Del to be a bit more worked up about changing his relationship with Laurel (especially after his reaction to Jack and Emma). ALSO: this, like Bed of Roses had almost more discussion between friends about the sex and relationship than there was any actual writing about Del/Laurel's relationship.
HOWEVER: the ending is one of the best I've read in a while. It was a bit too quick and sudden (maybe because we were not reading Del's mind enough in the last few chapters) but really romantic.
"Enjoyable but..."
the story was not as good as the first two in this series. There wasn't enough development of the relationship. There were so many opportunities to "liven up" the story.
"Savor the Moment"
I love Nora Roberts. But this book was tame. The couple went along like little puppets very little spice to add to the story.

"Very Sweet!"
This is the 3rd book in the quartet and I enjoyed it as much as the others. If you are a Nora Roberts fan you will love this book. Sweet story and a little hint of what is to come with Parker and Mel in book 4. Narrator was good but not great. Sometimes it was hard to tell who was speaking because she didn't use different voices for different characters. I still have to give it 5 starts because the story was so good. Credit worthy.
"4 girls and a wedding business: Part 3"
Fun, flirty, sassy
Seeing two people who have been friends a long time finally realize that they were meant to be together. The quote that once you find that person, you'll realize why it never worked out with anyone else...that is this book to a T.
When Laurel jumps out of the car to go sleep with Del on the 4th of July. It's just so memorable.
It's always right in front of you.
"Savor the Moment"
Great book. Looking forward to the next one.
"Traditional Nora continues this heart-warming saga"
Classic Nora Roberts.
Savor The Moment is the story of Laurel, the 3rd heart-warming story in the "VOWS" romantic saga.
We continue following the women of Vows Bridal & Event Planning, 4 Life-Long Best Girlfriends.
Long-Time Nora fans will love this Traditional & Romantic Saga.
"Vows is where I would have liked my wedding"
Loved that I could really get to know all the characters through the four books.
"Wonderful narrator, predictable story"
add a little something unpredictable
She really does an amazing job with different voices for different characters. I don't know how she keeps them straight!
It's part of a quartet... there is another book
"I Bought Books #1-3; I won't be purchasing #4"
No; didn't finish. Just as mediocre as #1 & #2
Didn't get that far!
Narrator was better than for 1st book
