Publisher's Summary

Using the surprisingly accurate analogy of a computer, this audiobook takes us on a fascinating tour of the way the brain functions – the way we think, act, and feel. All is determined by the programs that have been put into our brains by our parents, teachers, friends, the society we live in, and even ourselves. You will discover how many of the programs in your own brain are stopping you from achieving what you want from life. With the help of this audiobook you can completely overhaul your life and finally become the person you want to be. Ron claims this is the most powerful personal development programme available today...and he's probably right!

    "Impressive"

I have to say that I was impressed by this audiobook. I have been reading self-development books for the past year and I have read about creative visualizations many times but Ron really explains it to you perfectly. The more I hear about it, the more I want to do it and learn how to do it correctly. Using the computer as an analogy for your brain was perfect for explaining why it is so important to visualize. I am definitely going to listen to this audiobook over and over to get this technique down perfectly because I know visualization works from past experiences but I am far from perfecting it.

    "Practical"

Ron Holland highlights how the right and left brain utilizes information we have consciously or unconsciouly programmed into our selves. He succintly shares how to manifest successes after a person understands how to program the biocomputer (brain). Using personal stories, he explains how we all operate daily on the positive or negative feedback loops impregnated into our brains. He explains how to reprogram success by reprogramming the biocomputer and he shares how to use our reticular activating system (the critical 140 billion cells in the brain) to increase success in daily performance.
This is a practical and powerful NLP training for anyone who wants more success in every area of their lives. Inspirational and "do-able" techniques.

    "Corny Turbo Success"

There were moments that were good. But on the whole some of his examples were a bit lame. He goes on about reprogramming the BIO COMPUTER but gets to the end of the book and doesn't go into any real practical examples of how to do this. The book was a bit airy fairy with no real focus. I give it 2 stars because it was well read. But on the whole had no practical vision

    "Very clear and understandable explanations"
Would you consider the audio edition of Turbo Success to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the print version

What did you like best about this story?

The explanation of the differences in the left and right brain and their separate functions really hit home for me and I immediately understood the concepts. I've read many self development books but they have not been as clear and to the point as this audio. Also I liked the down to earth and easily understandable approach of the audio. There was nothing wafty - just practical advice.

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Haven't heard any prior performances of the narrator but I found him to be very professional and clearly spoken and I kept thinking the narrator was the author - he was very good!

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Turbo Success?

I have been listening again and again to the tape as the author advised and each time I hear something new. I am already putting into action many of the ideas.

    Any additional comments?

To me, Ronald G Holland is very 'real'!

    "MUST HAVE!"

Get this audiobook and understand life! I've read books from multiple schools of thought all relating to the power of our minds- everything from 'The Secret' to 'The Mind-Body Code', Jack Canfield, Deepak Chopra, Wayne W. Dyer, Mark Hansen, Candace Pert...struggling to understand and find an explanation that makes sense to me. The way that Holland lays out his ideas then follows them with not only examples but also reasons- it's amazing how it all comes together. He can explain the way the mind works and why you get the outcomes you do! This is the book I've been searching for and I believe it will make a difference in your life too!

    "PAinful"

The author should have definitely gotten someone else to to read, as his delivery was extremely irritating. The material was very poor, silly anectdotes of questionable relevance. I could not stand it anymore and did not finish listening past the first 2 or 3 chapters.
