Damon Johnson, who's been married to Carleigh for four years, is one of "the last good men" - compassionate and honest, he worships the ground his wife walks on. But Carleigh treats Damon like a trophy husband, allowing her friends to salivate over him and disrespect their happy home. Damon has dreams beyond his six-figure corporate job and Carleigh views his life aspirations as a joke. Her selfish nature makes Damon wonder if he made the right decision when he asked for her hand in marriage.
When a tragic event causes Brooke's and Damon's lives to intersect, truths unfold as they begin to reflect on their own relationships.
In this provocative tale of love and heartbreak, Zane explores what happens when you cater to your emotional well-being and discover the meaning of unconditional love - or rather, experience a total eclipse of the heart.

"BRING MORE ZANE PLEASE!!!"
Another Great Read by ZANE.
I don't understand why there are not MORE books by ZANE available here at audible.com
"Total Eclipse"
This is a great book!! I enjoyed every moment of it!! I just wish they had more zane books on audio.
"Great listen"
I commute to work about a 2hrs a day. I loved listening to this book. This was a very good zane book with a great story line. I really hated to get out of the car everyday. I never when have known this was an interracial couple. I hope that they add some more zane books pretty soon.
"My First Zane Book"
I liked the book, but the ending felt way too much like an after school special. I feel that the storyline was interesting, but the twist at the end was too preachy. I ended the story mid-dialogue. It was a bit much. Also, the one gay character seemed a bit over the top and stereotypical. His character was more the stereotypical, finger-popping version of a gay man that was popular in early 2000s television, before gay characters became multi-deminsional. Other than that, the book was good. The storyline involving the main characters was was written and performed.
Not really. I don't mind if a story has inerracial love, that's the reality of the times. But the way it was woven in was almost like Zane was trying to educate her readers. I may give Zane another try, but it's not likely.
"More Zane Please!"
This is my first audiobook in a longgg time---but i enjoyed every minute of it. I love listening to it at work--couldnt wait to get to work. :-) I even enjoyed the narrator. Overall, I loved it!
"Enjoyable"
Zane out did her self in this book I recommend it to everyone. The narration was "Great" which to me is important when listening.
"Excellent!"
I thought this was a great book. I agree this is not a typical 'Zane' book, she did a great job.
"Loved It!!"
Although I still think Addicted was Zane's best book, I really enjoyed Total Eclispe of the Heart. I thought it was very "clean" for a Zane novel, not "raunchy" but a good story line. You will really enjoy it.
I do wish there were different voices to play different characters. That kind of messed with my imagination a bit. Damon reading for himself, Carlyee, Jordan and Brooke and vice-versa Brooke reading for Brooke, Patrick, and Damon seemed strange to me. But overall very good book.
"Waiting for book 2"
Hurry and listen and be amazed by the way the hearts eclipse.
I love the way true love was grew. Hope and love.
When the total eclipse of the heart happened.
All characters were great.
Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
