In Living the Liberated Life and Dealing with the Pain-Body, best selling author Eckhart Tolle points a way out of the conditioned mind that keeps us trapped, helpless, and unhappy. In simple language, he describes a deeper level of consciousness beyond the limited thinking mind, and the way to make it available to you. He teaches that only by fully accepting this moment in time can you free yourself from the "pain-body" - the accumulated pain of your past - and from your fears about the future. Once you achieve this state of presence, a radical inner transformation begins that connects you with an infinite potential that defies the human mind.
Warmly shared, in the authentic voice that has brought him international acclaim, here is Eckhart Tolle's simple and profound gift to us, at a time when our world needs it most.

"A great adjunct to 'Power of Now'."
This book is one of two 'realtime' audiobooks that I have by Tolle. If you've listened to PON, you may be surprised by these books, not because of a difference of message, but because Tolle's speaking here is so alive and, yes, 'present'. The other interesting thing to note is his sense of humor.
Although PON is a wonderful book, these 'live' recordings capture a much more playful Tolle.
"Worthy addition to the Power of Now"
Don't order this audio as a shorter intro to the Power of Now. This one is excerpts from some of Tolle's talks, and probably makes sense only after you have read or heard that book.
I found it a worthy addition-as the other reviewer mentioned, the playful Tolle gives a different dimension to his teachings.
"A must!!"
This may be the most important talk I ever listenned to. I have played it over many times. I have come to believe that dealing with our pain is the most important reason we are on this Earth. Eckert teaches us how to recognize it in ourselves and others, and how we are not our pain... It's simply trapped energy. It takes the full 21/2 hours to really understand so by practising, we will learn how to free ourselves from all suffering! It's amazing!
"GREAT UPLIFTER"
Eckhart has a way of dealing with words that many people do not. He teaches you how to deal with deep sorrow in your soul and how to learn to know when the pain in your mind is trying to take over. I listened to this over and over again and it gives such great insight your thinking and how your thinking influences the way that you feel. And not only that, but to teach you the way to deal with pain and make it less, until it is almost gone. I never thought I could get rid of some of the pain in my life, but Eckhart reveals in a soothing and positive way the most simpelest way of dealing with lifes problems. I never thought that I could deal with past pain, or feel past pain and deal with it, but Eckhart reveals the way to do it and it is within yourself, truly, to do away with strife. This is an EXCELLENT BOOK to listen to over again. You learn something new every time you hear the words spoken. This is a must listen to book, you will miss out on life it you don't hear it. Truly....
"another excellent session"
excellent Eckhart Tolle! he words remind me of what i am aiming for as i become aware of my pain-body moments. with each listen i get more from his descriptions and suggestions ... and with this last listen i could actually detect a difference in how my awareness is growing. he seems to say just the right thing at the right moment even though he has suggested that his words are not planned so much as delivered in the moment. a testimony to his own level of awareness i dare say.
"More advanced Tolle"
This talk is more accelerated in how to transmute pain to peace. He touches on this subject in his books, but goes into far greater detail in this seminar. Even though I'm a man, I especially like the way he helps women deal with menustral pain as an accelerated way to enlightenment! He's truly a modern day guru.
Just to set the record straight, I reviewed Meditation and Psychotherapy accidently as another book I got, unfortunately it will not allow me to change anything but the stars, Audible said you cannot change it or delete. the book is AWESOME! Tara Brach is Awesome! The book I was rating I returned and was aweful. sorry
"Classic Tolle!"
Maybe not, I usually do not mind Tolle's teaching in live audience but there were some distractions such as a man coughing in the background. But I was able to get past it and enjoyed this.
This is not much new of Tolle but a shorter listen so it can be listened To in a sitting or two.
"Cognitive Behavior Therapy"
Mr. Tolle, while believed by many to have dramatic new ideas, simply restates the ideas of Cognitive Behavior Therapy--recognize the problem, change the way you think about it. This is not a book, but a lecture given before a live audience. Although I listened to the entire performance, I had the feeling I'd heard it all before.
