Other program elements include an interview with someone not making the headlines; "Thanks for the Memos", actual memos from listeners; and a visit to "The Place To Be", an unusual or interesting site selected for reasons known only to Feldman. Throughout the broadcast, listeners are treated to jazz with program regulars John Thulin and Jeff Hamman, and banter with sidekick Jim Packard.

"I enjoy this show"
Michael Feldman's show is consistently funny and entertaining. He has a very droll sense of humor. The show generally consists of a lot of audience participation, short musical interludes and a quiz during which he provides liberal help to the contestants. His rules for the quiz state that the "questions are well-reasoned and thoughtful but the answers are not." That should give you a clue. He doesn't take himself too seriously and you shouldn't either. If you are OK with that, you will enjoy the show.
"contemporary Groucho"
Michael Feldman is the closest thing we have to Groucho Marx's show "You Bet Your Life." "Whad'Y'Know," out of Madison, Wisconsin, is live radio that's largely unscripted, and it succeeds purely on Feldman's wit, ability to discover something interesting or funny in almost anyone, and onstage banter with his crew and the audience. I know a number of people who plan their weekends around it.
"Nothing here"
My local Public Radio station does not carry this program. I think they made the right decision. After listening to two weeks of it, I don't see there is much here that is interesting or funny. Over twenty minutes were spent discussing the route for an upcoming bus trip the show would be taking. Basically, the host wastes time talking to people about nothing until it is time for their quiz which consists of questions regarding obscure topics.
"Boring"
Whad'Ya Know is a boring show. It primarily features the host chatting with callers about absolutely nothing of interest. The dialog is not ammusing, interesting or entertaining. I had burned the show on a CD so that I could listen in the car with my family. After listening for over an hour my wife and daughter asked me to take out the CD and never play the show again. I completely agreed with them.
