Tuesdays with Morrie: 10th Anniversary Edition

This book made me think about my own mortallity. What is life really about? Who are really our friends? Will they care when we're gone? It's a book that should be taught at the high school level. So that people start with the end in mind. It made me almost cry when at the end of the book Morrie speaks. Great Book

Simple, but powerful. Whenever I thought one of Maury's stories would go nowhere, he would deliver the final message. Each time, I was blown away by his grace under such sad circumstances. Mitch Albom was a great reader.

This book read by the author was very touching, I listed to it all in one siting. In the end, you guessed it... I cried. Great Great book.

I read the book years ago and remembered being very touched by the story. Now listening to it is like reliving the experience. When you think that it is a real story it moves you even more. Spectacular message, lovely tone and just a good way to spend some time during the day. I can recommend the book or the audiobook to anyone.

Top notch book. Loved it and glad I had a chance to hear it.

Put life into perspective

The lessons Morrie teaches are valuable, touching, and speak the truth. What a wonderful piece of non-fiction!

i heard about this book, read the review and then i listened to it.i was so disappointed. almost all of the book is about how mitch felt and what he did. what about the wisdom of morrie ? more then half of the book is something like: on the second meeting we talk about life. on the third meeting we talked about friendship. great ! but, what did he said ? most of the time, mitch just say what was the topic of the meeting and thats it.

I finished this book a week ago, and I cannot stop thinking about it. The story is so moving. This is a must-listen book--far better listened to than read because the author is the narrator and reads it with the inflections and emotions he feels. At the end of the book, I was delighted to hear some of the actual recordings of Morrie and Mitch's dialogue. The book transcends time and generations. Anyone who has ever had a good teacher, coach, mentor, advocate while growing up will love this book. Awesome listen.

As the author of the book, you know the perspective he provides in his performance is accurate.

The best part of hearing the book, is the additional portion of audio at the end where we get to hear Morrie tell part of his story. That is something reading the book cannot offer you.
