"I actually enjoyed this - not dusty dull at all"
Regency is a period of history I have some fascination for. I thought this would be a bit dry and instead really enjoyed the connections and causalities of events, the characters and the media involvement in the popularity (or otherwise) of the Royal figures.
Narration is wonderful, not just Anna Massey (although she does the majority)
SAVE MONEY - after listening to this I realised for not much more I could have bought one of the 3 volumes of "This Sceptered Isle Empire" and enjoyed more history. So if you wish to buy more than one section, you might want to investigate the "EMPIRE" versions.0 of 0 people found this review helpful
