"Good and Bad"
Great book! Awesome narrator!! Awful recording quality=( At times I could hear people talking and other sounds in the background of the recording.
"happy fluff"
If your life brims with stress and harsh reality, this series will let you slip back to a slower time, filled with rich description and tradition.
"This book brought profound joy to me."
I never cease to marvel at the genius of Lucy Maud Montgomery. This book, as well as this whole series by her, has brought me so much deep joy and a love for the beauty of life. I'm now in the fifth book in her series, "Anne's House of Dreams," and I continue to absorb the incredible writing of this author. The narrator in this book sounds just like I would imagine Anne's voice to sound. A real winner!

"Loved it!"
I have only started reading (listening) this type of book in later years and loved this one.
"Terrible recording & monotonous reader"
Loved the story but I couldn't get beyond the background noise in this recording and the dull monotonous reading by the narrator. It was really sub-standard.
Please get a good narrator like Shelly Frasier to do this audiobook. Her rendition of Book 1 in the series was just superb - the colourful vocal inflections and emotions portrayed in that reading made listening to that audiobook a real joy.
"BAD RECORDING Constantle hear backround talking"
the recording is so bad sounds like being in a theather with another movie playing too loud next door, this is very anoying
