Coulter is excellent at portraying romantic tension between her heroes and heroines. (Milwaukee Journal)
"Surprised!"
Wow. When I read the review of this book, I was not sure that I would purchase it. However, since I like the author, I decided to give it a go. I am very glad that I did. It was very much in the CC style, but beyond that it was better in that it had a unique twist! However, if you don't want sexual content (although not explicit) don't read this.
"poor narrator!"
I would read another book from Catherine Coulter BUT I will not listen to another book read by Anne Flosnik. At some point in the story, I had no idea who was talking. They all sound the same!! Sophie sounded like Ryder most of the time! They all sound like they smoke a pack of cigarette a day! It's too sad. I was so disappointed. It was so hard to finish the book but I didn't want to waste my money. Besides, the story was good but the narrator sucks.
Yes, she writes really good story. Dragged on a bit at the beginning but once the story gets flowing, it's speeds on.
Always Rosalyn Landor. She is the best! She makes the best male voices. I don't know how she does it but she's great! I love her!
"Romantic, Comedy it makes you cry and laugh."
Yes, I would highly recommend this book and the entire series -- I have read these on my own and am now re-listening to them in order again.. This book is charming in a risque sort of way... The characters are easy to fall in love with and you do.. especially if you begin your journey with
I love the way Catherine Coulter makes the characters come to life.. The most memorable moments for me are the dialogue between Sophie and Ryder
The Scene at the end when Charles Grammond's wife shows up at the meeting at the toliver shack.
Romantic , Outrageous Comedy.
