Stone Barrington returns in the thrilling new novel from the New York Times best-selling author.
After a productive trip to Bel-Air, Stone Barrington is back in Manhattan - and back in his element, ready to return to the world of deluxe fine dining and elegant high society that New York does best.
But then an unexpected visit from his friend and periodic lover, CIA assistant director Holly Barker, draws Stone into a dangerous game of murder and vengeance, against an enemy with plans bigger than they could ever imagine....

"Frequent Listener"
Just finished this listen on the way home from work Friday. Went back on line to down load a couple of the S.B. series I haven't listened to yet. Read the reviews by many, pretty surprised by the feedback. For those who listen to a lot of books, Tony does one of the best jobs of any of the narraters I listen to. Seperation of the characters is difficult, Tony does a great job with this. As far as the Barrington series go, I listen because they are fun, only slightly racy and entertaining. Maybe not great literature, but they can make you laugh, keep you in some suspense and bring you in to like the characters. What more should you ask for in a series meant to entertain, not think.
"Fantastic..easy to follow..well written"
The series has shown growth and depth. The author has been able to keep my attention for the entire series, when is the next book coming
I guess you can compare to each book of the series..they have grown with each new book. Great job Stuart Woods
Stone Barrington
no one moment..the whole book
the series says it all..keep writing them
"Terrible"
No fan of the author who has read or listened to all Stone Barrington titles.
Sure--more Stone Barrington
Stuart Woods has lost his way. What made his storys good was the N.Y. life with Stone and Dino. Chasing terrorists is for some other author.
"Seems like Family"
Somewhat formulaick but after so many Stone Barrington stories the characters seem like family to me. Tony does a fantastic job with the voices as well. I keep looking forward to the next book.
