To find the truth, and earn his twenty-five gold pieces a day, Eddie must take to sea in the company of a sexy former pirate queen in search of the infamous Tew—and his even more legendary treasure.

Alex Bledsoe grew up in west Tennessee, an hour north of Graceland. He’s been a reporter, editor, photographer, and door-to-door vacuum cleaner salesman. He has published more than fifty short stories on topics as diverse as big-game hunters, mermaids, modern witches, Victorian gentlemen, and country musicians. He has two sons and lives in Wisconsin.

Pirate twist of good and evil

Like the story, like the narration, didn't like the foul language, doesn't improve the story.

Tragic

Well the ending is a bit anticlimactic and totally unexpected. It's too bad it's a tale of suffering and torment for many characters that made horrible decisions in the past, apparently dooming them forever. This was sad.

Good story, but damn you. It will take days for me to get that song from Looking Glass out of my head LOL

Wild ride

Good Story with several twists and turns all the way through the end. More mythical creatures, new people, new lands and the sea. If you liked the other stories in the series, you will definitely like this one.

Eddie LaCross series just gets better

What other book might you compare Wake of the Bloody Angel to and why?

I never ever heard of a pirate story like this one. Alex Bledsoe really knows how to draw you into the characters and the story.

What about Stefan Rudnicki’s performance did you like?

Stefan Rudniki is a great narrator, I've listened to several series where he narrates and he doesn't disappoint ever

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

SPOILER..........When Eddie confronts Angie with the truth.

Any additional comments?

I love this series, there are always great moments some funny some scary, but always action packed. I hope there will be more in this series than five books and I hope Stefan Rudnicki continues to narrate.
