"Bravo, Shiloh Walker! Awesome end to great trilog"
What did you love best about If You Know Her?The build up to who dun it ~ I'd think I knew, then I'd waver...she totally drew it out through all three books, and had me hanging on the edge waiting for the reveal. And the way she did surprised me! And kind of grossed me out getting killers POV.
What did you like best about this story?Nia ~ I loved her! She was strong, driven and no matter how people doubted what she thought, she kept on keeping on, because it was what SHE believed. The relationship w/ Lawe starts out w/ a blaze, and never lets up ~ in a very big way due the woman she is. I was so thriled she turned out to be the heroine I thought she would in book 2.
What does Cris Dukehart bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?She really makes the characters come ALIVE ~ she builds the suspense, tugs on your empathy and heart strings...she makes them BECOME actual people to me.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?YES!! And I really did in 3 intervals...it was SO hard to quit once I started! I couldn't wait to get to a place where I could listen more!
Any additional comments?I'm so thrilled w/ the way Ms. Walker wraped up this trilogy ~ I wasn't totally sold on Hope, the heroine in bk 2, but I couldn't quit the series because she hooked me so well w/ the suspense arc that carried from book to book, and with the characters she'd made so vivid in my head. I loved this book ~ it was worth the wait, and the build up totally pays off!!
I loved seeing the 3 couples from each book, how they react and engage w/ one another. And the killer...let me just say, you'll be so glad you hung in there!!1 of 1 people found this review helpful -
"Perfect Ending to Romantic Suspense Trilogy"
This is really a review for the entire trilogy. It is really hard to separate each story, because the story line continues through each book so well.
I originally won this trilogy in a contest by the author. I read the books and fell in love with this trilogy. I'm am soooooo happy that I got all three books at the same time. Cliffhanger is a word that could be used. The style of this trilogy is that each book has its own romantic story, but the suspense follows through all three books. You do not know who the serial killer is until you are most of the way through Book 3. Even listening to this book after reading it, I was looking for clues to point me to the killer, and I still didn't see anything slip. "Romance and Mystery!!!"
Would you listen to If You Know Her again? Why?Yes! The series was very intriguing. By book one, I was hooked.
Which scene was your favorite?All of them! I would have to listen again for the favorite scene but the most intriguing scene was when the mystery wrapped up!!!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?Yes, but unfortunately I couldn't. When I had the time, I was listening away!
