Mother, wife, private investigator... vampire.
Seven years ago, federal agent Samantha Moon was the perfect wife and mother, your typical soccer mom with the minivan and suburban home. Then the unthinkable happened, an attack that changed her life forever. And forever is a very long time for a vampire.
Now, with Christmas just around the corner, Samantha Moon finds herself taking on a very strange case. A mysterious family treasure has been stolen, something priceless that's been passed down through the generations, something buried in secrets. Samantha's reward is simple: she gets half of whatever it is... if she can find it first.
And just as the holidays threaten to consume her, Samantha is approached by a very mysterious man, someone who knows all her secrets, a man who might not be a man at all. This Christmas, Samantha Moon's world is about to be rocked.

"Love this series just gets better"
First Dina Perlman is wonderful as narrator, I hope they don't change. Even though the book was short if you've been following the series it is an important link to the next book in the series. Samantha Moon is getting to be a very powerful vampire, and you will see in book 5 just how that manifests. Start with book one, each book gets better. I can't wait for book 6.
Samantha and Det. Sherbet really work well together
Dina Pearlman is wonderful in all her narrations and I especially enjoy her in this series
"Not your every day Soccer Mom"
I hope that Dina Pearlman will continue to narrate this series, she brings so much personality to each character.
"A Short Interlude"
A quick short story that moved along nicely. Samantha seems to have no end to supernatural men who have fallen in love with her.
"Good Short Story"
I continue to enjoy this series - author & narrator! The stories and characters are interesting and admirable. On to the next story - Vampire Dawn!
"Too short"
If you love the series, you will like this but be disappointed with the length. It is too short and there doesn't seem to be anything in it that will be missed if you don't buy it.
