William J Oneil has got it down!I have bought several other stock market audio books from audible and Oneil is the one that really knows his stuff.Get ready to subscribe to IBD you need it to effectively benefit from this book. I would buy it again if I didnt have it! Also Phil Town and Cramers real money were beneficial. William J Oneil is the best!!!!!!

"Good info but all over the place"
The book does provide some good pointers to look for before investing however it doesn't really teach you how to look for them.
To reap the benefits of this book you will likely need to subscribe and pay a membership to a good screening tool. Otherwise the book is very much useless.
The book is also overwhelming at times, a combination from the reader's voice and the amount of information being thrown at you all at once.
In short if you are a beginner investor start off with something else like Rule #1 or the little book the beats the market(although views on this book contradicts those methods) and expect to pay for a screening tool if you want to apply the main lessons of this books.

"Changed the way I trade"
Would you listen to How to Make Money in Stocks again? Why?I've listened to this audiobook several times, and purchased the book and have read it through twice as well. This book put me on an entirely different way of trading. The two biggest helps for me were for cutting losses and simplifying my technical analysis. Granted, you basically need to subscribe to IBD to be able to use all the tools, but a great book nonetheless.
May not be a great book for newcomers to the stock market, but for those who have been buying and selling but feel pushed around it can help bring some understanding to why the market moves the way it does.

"Material is okay, but the narrator drives me nuts"
Would you try another book from William O'Neil and/or Chris Ryan?William O'Neil is a maybe. Chris Ryan, definitely not.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Chris Ryan?A muppet. A five year old. Anyone. Please make him stop.

I highly recommend this book to ANYONE who wants to make money in the market. Don't listen to current media reports on the stock market! Listen to Bill O'Neil, he knows the real truth and tells you REALLY how to manage your account.
