"On How to Get Rich Quick"
No.
This is roughly my 30th download and my first review.
Cattle farmers don't paint their cows purple, but the author of this book would seem to suggest that they should. (See Seth Godin's Purple Cow.) Unlike the author of this book, I believe that the purpleness of the cow (the mojo of the product) is rooted in the product's value proposition, not in its superficial promotion.
I recently read Lean Start Up, Delivering Happiness, and Flow. Those books reflect what I believe business is about, which is creating value intelligently and with high integrity. Those authors are intelligent and mature, and they have clear ideas that are sufficiently novel.
This book is about creating hype without regard to creating value. And the tone is repulsive.
"I love this Book!!"
You will not be disappointed. Little slow start until 40-445 minutes and watch out. You'll have to pull over (if driving) every few minutes to write down an idea that hits you!
"A Shot Of Pure Motivation For Internet Marketers"
I joined Audible.com less than a month ago and this was my first download. Although I've been working in the online marketing industry for 7 years, I wasn't familiar with the author (Jim Kukral). I would guess that I've read 25 books on this subject, and this was one of the very best.
There are so many ideas in here, but what stands out the most now that I'm finished is how much Jim motivated me to keep moving forward with my web-based business venture. As a big bonus, Jim even offers readers/listeners a complimentary phone consultation, which I took advantage of today.
Buy or download this book...you will not be disappointed!

"Fun to read, fresh, and enlightening"
Fun to read, fresh, and enlightening. If you're brand new to the world of internet marketing and social media this is the book for you. This book is filled with winning strategies, ideas and motivation.
"Great marketing ideas for online noobs"
As a web designer and online entrepreneur I found this audiobook to be generally helpful. It sparked a few ideas and got the ol'brain buzzing with new possibilities. I'd recommend this audiobook for business owners, new online entrepreneurs and even seasoned online pros might get a jolt of inspiration to try something new.
"Very good material in this audio"
Very good material in this audio. I have 2-3 pages of notes I've taken from this audio. Lot's of future use in my business.
"Annoying reptitive cliche's? "Don't be "That Guy"!"
Highly annoying delivery of some OK content. The ridiculous overuse of the term "That Guy", will nearly drive you to throw this book at "That Guy!". So don't be "That Guy"!
Written in a blog style which could be good or bad, but it just falls short of adding emoticons and LOL in the text. Doesn't translate as well to audio.
A much better book that gives a similar message is "Made to Stick" by Chip and Dan Heath. How to get attention.
The mark seems to be on simply getting online attention, but not on actually creating it with integrity. There are many online marketers and personalities that really do nothing more than self promote... no real valuable content of their own.
This is one of those Just press "retweet" with style! books.
You can probably learn from how to be "that guy", but is "that guy" the same as the other boring flash in the pan?
"Entertaining and informative"
It's on my list of something I'd listen to more than once. There are few books on that list.
The examples were funny and I can tell Jim believes in what he's talking about.
Because of this book I've followed Jim's blog and bought a couple of his other books. I think he's a genuine guy. I wouldn't follow all of the advice in this book, but I think that's the case with any book. You always have to adapt advice to your own situation. All in all, I would recommend this book as part of several when learning how to market your business.
"This book will only make the author Money"
This book will only make the author and the publisher money, in fact this book will waste your time and money.
Do not expect this book to make you any money, and do not expect that it will teatch you how to advertice online, there is no ideas about how to use search engines or anything like that at all.
The author promises that you will learn “How to Use Attention-Getting Online Marketing to Increase Your Revenue” but it does nothing of the kind, however it does tells you how to annoy publishers and how to try to sell stories to magazines. It doesn’t say the least about how to market anything online at all, it does tell you some boring stories about how great the author is and what wonderful “childish”ideas he thinks he gets,
"Great Audiobook"
One of the best and inspirational audio book I have listened to. Full of real time stories that gets you up and moving. It prepares you to become unique in your own rights. I asked myself questions like "Who am I and how is the world looking at me?" It is life changing if you want to be special and not being afraid to show it to the world. Just "BE" yourself one step at the time.
