"He is brilliant but be prepared"
Kurzweil is obviously ahead of his time. This is a pretty good conversation between him and a number of callers (at least one who calls him a “crackpot”) with Ray explaining his theories from human longevity to nanotechnology. You don’t get deeper than his two latest books but it is an excellent primer for anyone who is not already familiar with his work
"Kurzweil continues the exploration for us"
Kurzweil continues to unfold before us incredible possibilities for our future. Whether or not some or any of these revelations ever occur, his thinking propels us forward and provides inspiration for our own thoughts about advancement of the species.
"Ray Kurzweil is an ardent proponent of futurism."
One day, machines will equal and surpass human intelligence. They will be sentient beings that will emote, reason, and have spiritual experiences. Humans will be enhanced with technology that allows them to perform amazing things. This will change how we live, heal ourselves, view religion, God, work, and the meaning of life and society on earth. The next fifty years will be really cool
