The Splendid Table, 1-Month Subscription

I'm so excited to see that this show is now being offered on audible.com. Lynne Rosetto Kaspar has made some of the best Italian cookbooks, and she hosts a great radio show about food. My favorite bit is when she has people call up with the random ingredients that they find in their fridge and she or the show's guest will come up with a recipe. It doesn't always sound so tasty, but it's fun.

I'm glad to see audible offer this program. It's a great ... 'user-friendly' show about good food ... including segments on preparing and eating good food, people in the business, restaurants, wine & beer, & specialty foods. Lynn has the perfect personality for this entertaining radio program.

In the midwestern tradition Lynn Rossetto Casper, discusses food and cooking with love. I like the road food section as well as the experts she invites. I especially like her sweet attitude.

This is a great show for people interested in food and cooking as wellas people who enjoy travelogues. Lynne Rossetto Kasper interviews people around North America and the world on subjects from restaurants to cooking to food science, and more. She keeps the show moving along well so it's never boring.

I was really looking forward to spending my journey home each day listening to a programme about food - perhaps getting recipe ideas and tips. Unfortunately this programme is really boring, and the presenter's idea of haute cuisine seems to be grits for breakfast. Perhaps it works better for an American audience, but I was very disappointed and will certainly not be renewing my subscription. Audible - why don't you try and get some of the BBC programmes about food? They are much better!
