    "relevance of format?"

I dislike when listeners complain about freebies, but since Audible presents this as a bonus to subscribers, here goes:

Principle of Communication: Format needs to suit content and audience.

Format: With the plethora of news apps, podcasts, and ways to consume them, I no loner see the relevance of this Digest, even for the visually impaired. The Times is a must consult, but even with improvements in Audible's iPhone, I can't browse this, which is what most do with a newspaper, especially the excellent Times app. This format is already digested for me, and I have to admit, after 5 years of membership, I've ever made it through an entire episode.

Audience: Are there bonus subscription choices more relevant to "my geographical location?" Or non news bonus subscriptions? Do subscribers from all English-based Audbile stores get offered only the American papers? (As a Canadian, I'd even appreciate a French paper more)

Audience: I am inferring from product choice and sales that Audible's customer base has changed over the last few years -- surely the younger listeners (I am not one of those!) might prefer another subscription option as well?
