"... another spritely early American romance." (Romantic Times, Top Pick review)
"ive listened twice"
the main charicter in this story is amazing shes a Hoot! its not a sappy type of love story in fact i didnt realize it was a love story till tward the end full of everything a good story could hold i recomend it
"Great pick for listening"
Good book with exciting twist and turns. Good option for a chirstian fiction author and that's why I am going to try another one of her books.
"Delightful Character"
I really enjoyed Hope, who was true to her name. This was quite an uplifting story with lots of information making me want to research German immigrants to that region. I wasn't sure of what religious group they might have been affiliated with (i.e. Mennonite, Lutheran,...?). They probably said and I just missed it. The narrator was quite good too.
"Wonderfully funny and entertaining!"
Yes, the story line is well developed and the characters are strong. The family dynamics are like many of ours and show that grace will see us through.
The heroine was strong and funny. Sure of herself and her place in the world, confident of her skills and loyal to her friends.
The harvest.
I really enjoyed listening to it daily on my drive to work. Something to look forward to.
Loved the narrator. The story was packed with drama and humor. Lots of little twists and turns to keep your interest. Best listen in a long time.
"Way too religious for me"
I wish that I'd seen that this was an "inspirational" book before I purchased it. The concept of the story is nice, but the bible passages every other paragraph were too much for me.
