"Not bad"
The story itself is quite nice and well written, if slightly dated. Or perhaps you need to be younger to appreciate the story and ignore the fact that a lot of it has become cliche ("A mysterious island, shrouded in fear, evil, and darkness" etc.)
As for the narrator, I must say I didn't care for his performance. It's not that he does anything "wrong": his voice is pleasant, his diction is flawless. But to my taste it was overacted. Mr. Harrison simply expresses too much emotion in his narration. As always, this is a matter of taste, but that's what I thought.

"Short but sweet"
Where does The Most Dangerous Game rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?In the top % it was short but so entertaining.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Most Dangerous Game?when he realizes that he fights or dies.
Which character – as performed by B. J. Harrison – was your favorite?The antagonist.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?Not really just very nostalgic. I remember reading this in high school.
Any additional comments?Cheap quick and worth it. If you've never herd the story check it out you will not be disappointed.

"A most thrilling classic masterpiece!"
Would you consider the audio edition of The Most Dangerous Game to be better than the print version?Hummm. No. Just as good.
What other book might you compare The Most Dangerous Game to and why?This is vintage perfection written for the discerning mind. Publisher's Weekly probably would reject it as "old fashioned" because it doesn't begin with a chase scene, or something. You want new fashion? Go see Star Trek. You want perfection like Doyle, Wells, Kipling, or Verne, this is your ticket to satisfaction! It will knock your socks off and make your head spin like no other story.
What about B. J. Harrison’s performance did you like?Excellent. None better.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?...in the tree.
Any additional comments?Worth every cent, every minute devoted.

"High School"
What did you like best about The Most Dangerous Game? What did you like least?I loved listening to The Most Dangerous Game! Reading it in high school was boring because a teacher made us! But as an adult it is interesting to listen to it again!

Did B. J. Harrison do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?Yes, every character has different tones and feelings. It is easy to tell who is who.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?It would be a short movie but YES, almost every reader compares the book to the movie to see which is better.

"Fantastic Reader"
What did you love best about The Most Dangerous Game?I purchased this audio book to play for my 9th grade English course and was not disappointed. The students were engaged (which is saying something), and I did not grimace at the reading once. I am a picky listener; I will stop listening to a story that I like if I do not enjoy the reader. B.J.Harrison was interesting and dynamic. He had a wonderful hold on the characters and brought them to life. Bravo.

"An old story"
Would you try another book from Richard Connell and/or B. J. Harrison?I don't think so. Too hard to suspend my disbelief.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?It's not possible to enjoy someone hunting other humans to kill them.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?If you like being scared, this works.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?I did look at the movie on Netflix. It is very old fashioned an in old Hollywood tradtion
they changed things around a bit.
Any additional comments?I don't like to be scared so I jumped forward in the book so this is not a really fair review.
