    "Gary delivers!"

I have the hard cover of this book, and ordered the audio to read along with it, and Gary gives his audible customers a treat by adding commentary, often straying from the text to inject little (and sometimes BIG) bonuses; it's like he's talking right to his fans! And the book is rich with information - worth several listens! Have your pen and paper ready, this one is worth taking notes on!

    "Don't drive while listening"

Admittedly, this book started off like I was listening to a Gary V. podcast. I missed the "actor" sound of the common audiobook orator. But, how else could you listen to "CRUSH IT"? Once I got over my audiobook snobbery, the content of the book smacked up side the head.

Gary V. delivered only as he could, the simple truth of how to be happy and successful at the same time. Work hard, do what you love. work hard and then work even harder. It definitely gave me a jolt of reality and energy to pursue my passions.

this book needs to be listened to, rather than read. You can't get the passion from Gary V.'s voice without hearing Gary V. One piece of advice, though, don't drive and listen. His passion may cause you to swerve off the road on a couple of occasions.

    I'd rate this book a 90.

"Not a real business start up help book..."

This book is really only for those with very little common sense and those that have not taken a Business 101 course or can't find a better business start-up book. Vaynerchuk should have bought a better ghost writer and taken a lot more business courses.

"Excellent book + even more than the paper version"

I loved this book. Gary tells you how it is, what to do and why to do it. There aren't any short cuts to success, but this is a great roadmap to get to where you want to by doing what you love.

I originally got the hard cover version and it was nice to have because it had a checklist in the back. This was an amazing buy though because there are extra things in this version that aren't in the written version.

"One Of The Best I've Heard"

I'm an info-junkie, so when I'm not online or reading, I'm listening to a book or podcast.
Let's be honest: For a long time, most audio books have been a compromise--they're something you consume when you're too busy to sit down and read the book yourself.
Only rarely does an audiobook match up to the print version, let alone exceed it, even when it's read by its own author.
This is one of those times. I bought the print version over the holidays but it kept disappearing (people in my family kept nicking it). So I downloaded the audio and there was just no comparison--it's twice as good as the book. Print just does not do the material--nor it's charismatic author-- justice.
The premise of the book is as simple as it is powerful: Social networking platforms are creating unprecedented opportunities for anyone with the drive and the persistence to go after them.
And nobody can deliver the message better than "Garyvee". He's funny, inspiring and irrepressible.
And he has a terrible time "sticking to the script", as he puts it, which means the audiobook is chock-full of "bonus material" you won't find in the print version.
I think that, like me, a lot of people will end up buying both formats, using the book as a quick reference/refresher and the audio download for inspiration and motivation.
But if you have to choose, definitely get the audio book--you won't be disappointed!

"Love it! So energetic - interesting perspective"

Love me some @Garyvee! Gary is such an over-the-top and inspiring personality and businessman. This audiobook is filled with "off the script riffs" and "rants" - the passion and belief of what he is talking about is very transparent.

I gave the story only three stars, because I think that he is a bit scary about working your ass off. He evangelized grueling work and sleeping three hours a night to get what you want out of life. But he is very clear that you should be very sure that you are working toward your true authentic passion and if you are - staying up until three am should be fun.

This read give a great balance to Four-Hour Workweek, which follows the premise of NOT working too hard, not worrying too much about your work being your passion, and instead automating your cashflow as much as possible.

Both are books about leveraging the internet to be your own boss and live the dream, but with diametrically opposed strategies on how to do so. I suspect that the best strategy lies somewhere in the middle.

Definitely recommend this listen. Take his overall advice for life to heart (putting family first and living your passion), take notes on his social networking techniques, but take his "be your own toughest boss" with a grain of salt. We should all work hard, true, and this should be fun if we are doing what we love...but most people we get burnt out following his advice.

    Balance is key!

    "AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!"

This book is AWESOME! Gary gives some Valuable information + also keeps it real in the process. This isn't one of the boring audio CD's that go over the same type of information that is always re-hashed.

This info is Valuable. He also talks about something for everyone. It doesn't matter if you like to do videos, write, or just talk. There's something for everybody. Everyone can CRUSH IT!

Thanks Gary for taking the time to put this together!

I actually bought the book and then had to buy the audio because I couldn't read fast enough. :)

Every book is worth considering. It's the kind of consideration on what to do with the book that differs.

    "Crush It?"

It starts with promises of methods to start doing what you love, then goes on to become a redundant ramble about the benefits of having a personal website and the evils of corporate workplaces, which turned out to be difficult to swallow.

I've never heard of this guy before, and his repetitive plugging of his work at Wine Library TV (and he mentions that A LOT) becomes extremely irritating halfway through.

Also, the author/narrator is talking as if he's the obnoxious guy hanging out with the gang. If I had a penny for every time he said "Are you ready for this?" I'd easily have more than I paid for this purchase. I wanted an audiobook to listen to, not a guy who thinks he's cool telling the rest of us how we got it all wrong and he didn't.

    "True Vaynerchuk"

If you like Gary, you will like this book. If you have never heard of the guy, I recommend you check out Wine Library TV.

Be aware. He is not the best reader in the world. He fumbles a bit, but I would not have wanted anyone else to narrate this book. It is his message and he was right to be the voice reading it.

An honest and spot on take on the way Gary sees opportunities in the rapidly changing environment the internet has created. Thanks, Gary for all that you give.

    "Crush It!"

Gary brings to you an unbelievable amount of positive energy that you can't help but to get involved and get in gear, or simply get out of the business. He tells it like it is with no sugar coating. When you're done listening you'll want to listen again and again. There's a lot of information, good information, and sometimes you may feel the same information you can read in other books, but this is brought to you in a way that you will want to take action and not just say it was a good read. There's a lot of extras in the audio version that you won't want to miss. It's very personable and it makes you feel he's talking to you in the same room. This book is for everyone who wants more out of life, and not just for business owners who's trying to get ahead. Thanks Gary for sharing your experiences.
