The queen of the street lit genre, De’nesha Diamond pens tales about the toughest ride-or-die chicks ever to roam the streets of the Dirty South. In Street Divas, four powerful women vie for total control of the Memphis hood, and they aren’t about to let past loyalties get in their way. While Lucifer is hitting the streets to get her revenge for a deadly shooting, Essence is hitting the sheets - with her best friend’s man. And Yolanda knows her path to power lies with her baby’s hustler father, but Queen G Leshelle is dead set on keeping this game all to herself.

"Good Read"
I can t wait until the next book comes out
the End I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Mad, like are you serious you just going to leave me hanging like this until next time..
"Street Divas was AWESOME!"
Yes! The storyline of this book has the drama and intriguing plot that pulls the reader right in.
The ticking time bomb of the drama between Python and Fat Ace. The 2 brothers are arch enemies with a past that will hopefully bring the 2 of them together in a "happy" reunion. Their past is so very complex and someone knows what happend but "street-laws" says that no one snitches.
The narration of the story allows you, the reader, to feel every emotion of the character. The narrators "define" each of the characters involvement in the upcoming gang war that is simmering just beyond "enemy territory." In a few words, each narrator "played their part very well!"
The moment in the book that moved me was Christopher having to see his Dad kill his Mother. I hope that she is not really dead and that Christopher will soon be reunited with his family because Python is providing a environment that is conducive for healthy lifestyle. Someone has to be able to stop the "family cycle of gang involvement" although I am not too sure whether or not his Supercop grandfather is the household he needs to be reared in either.
This series is fast becoming one of my top series to read. De'Nesha Diamond has the right amount of drama and twist and turns interweaved into the plot to keep readers interested and wanting to read her novels for years to come.
"The drama never stopped!"
I like the audio edition of Street Divas. It moved fast and was well paced. If reading the print, it is possible to sit the book down and not read in between intervals.
I like how realistic Tashara's response was portrayed after her victimization.
There were so many well spoken narrators!
I think Street Divas is the appropriate name for this book.......
The author does a great job with these street fiction books, and it is nice to see her write so well as a romance noveistl under her real name. Google this author!!
"IGNORANT!"
I felt it was an ignorant piece of work that just detailed ultimate exaggeration of street violence and bad language!
Never!
Cannot be saved!
The whole work.
"Chicks out of control"
Women running S*&!
When LeShelle got what was long overdue from her sister La'Shara.
I think they should have had the same narrator for this one that did Hustlin' Divas. I think her name was Honey something. I really liked her and her sound effects. These narrators had none. They just read the words. I felt like I didn't know any of these characters because of the different narrators.
Not really I just felt bad about Essence.
There were a few inconsistency like when Yolanda said that she didn't know Baby's real name until she went to the funeral in Hustlin Divas and then turn around in this one and say when she was meeting with her children say that she named her 3 year old daughter after her. Then Momma Peaches says that she can't go and see her husband in jail because she's on parole but then when she needs to ask him a question about him being Mason's dad she all of a sudden can get in and see him.
But all and all I loved the story.
As long as I have my wine glass....it's whatever for me!
"True Street Divas"
Love this author and this story. First book had me on the edge of my seat and this one did too. Looking forward to what happen next.
"Loved it!"
The audio version is the best, you get to feel the emotions of the characters. The book leaves you in suspense and on the edge of your seat. I can't wait to hear more.
I liked the way the narrator knew how to sound like different people when multiple.characters are talking.
"Wow, these are some ruthless chicks!"
This story gives you a rough and raw tale of women who choose to get in the gang life and try to dominate as strongly as the men. It will make you smile, make you feel sad, and mad throughout this book. Very good story and narrated by my fave,Honey Jones. She really gets into the characters and really shows off with the character Mama Peaches.
"A Good Listen"
Captivating, Mysterious, Cliffhanger
At the end when Python suspects Mason to be his brother due to the birth mark on his neck that they both share.
Yes, I love all of their voices, it add's a voice to the face created in the listener's mind.
yes, I didn't want to stop listening
I can't wait to hear the follow up to this story.
